| Objective:To investigate and compare the treatment effects of polymer ceramic inlays,onlays,overlays,and porcelain inlays,onlays,and overlays,for the treatment of tooth defects,and provide evidence-based medicine for clinical operation.Methods:Retrievalling relevant database:PubMed,OVIDSP,the Cochrane Library,CBM,VIP,CNKI,and WangFang Data.The literatures including,about compare the treatment effects of polymer ceramic iulays,onlays,overlays,and porcelain inlays,onlays,and overlays for the treatment of tooth defects,and trace references to the literature.Data extraction and methodological quality ecaluation were finished independently by two reserachers and disagreements were solved by discussion.Original outcome data,if possible,were subjected to statistical pooling by Review Manager 5.3 for Meta-analysis.Results:After eliminating duplicates,evaluating the titles and abstracts,an-d full-text reading.7 articles were included for quantitative analysis and analysis of risk of bias.all of 7 aticles were randomized controlled studies.There was no significant difference in 1-year-survival rate between polymer ceramic group and porcelain group,(OR=2.72,95%CI:0.91?8.18,P=0.07);The difference in 3-year survival rate was significant between polymer ceramic group,and porcelain group,(OR=2.5,95%CI:1.28?4.87,P=0.007).Conclusion:In general,polymer ceramic inlay,onlay treatment of tooth defect may be better than porcelain inlay,onlay,but because of the low sample volume of this study,the conclusion needs more high-quality research to verify. |
