Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the short-term clinical performance of CAD/CAM all-ceramic crown/inlay/onlay and the corresponding cases were presented in the present article. Methods: The related literature and scientific data were reviewed. Clinical and radiological examinations were carried out on the cases with tooth defects. Comprehensive analysis, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic schedule, and prognosis were finished before dental treatments. Using the American public health association of the revised standard to evaluate the clinical effect of restoration. All the patients were followed up.Results: According to the current results, it was found that the application of CAD/CAM all-ceramic crown/inlay/onlay in the restoration of decayed teeth could provide good anatomical morphology, excellent teeth proximal contact, satisfactory appearance, qualified marginal fitness, and high retentive force. The short-term clinical performance was well acceptable. Conclusions: CAD/CAM all-ceramic crown/inlay/onlay is a promising approach for decayed teeth. However, the long-term clinical performance is still worthy of further investigation. |
