Objective:1.To investigate benefit finding, symptom burden and quality of life of patients with lung cancer,to explore the influencing factors of the quality of life of patiects with lung cancer.2.Analysis of the relationship between the benifit finding, symptom burdens and quality of life in patients with lung cancer.3.To judge whether benefit finding is an intermediary variable to improve the quality of life of lung cancer patients. Methods:Using the cross-sectional design, selected 325 lung cancer patients who met the admission conditions from the third-class a hospital in Zhengzhou as the study object. The lung cancer were investigated with general data questionnaire,Benefit Finding Scale(BFS),M.D Anderson Symptom Inventory(MDASI)and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung Cancer(FACT-L).312 valid questionnaires were collected and using SPSS 22.0 statistical software for data t test, analysis of variance correlation analysis and Structural Equation Model and other statistical analysis. The test level of both sides,? = 0.05.Results:1.General information of respondents:In this study,325 questionnaires were sent out.In the process of participating in this study,7 questionnaires were filled out because of examination interruption,6 invalid questionnaires,312 valid questionnaires were recovered, and the effective recovery rate was 96.0%.The age of the respondents was 26?82 years old, with an average age of(60.21± 9.53)years,among which 255 cases(81.73%)were male,194 cases(62%)were junior high school and below,62% cases were occupation workers,60.58% cases per capita income of househoud below 3000 yuan,258 cases with spouse(82.69%).200(64.10%)of the former and / or present smoking patients and 189(60.58%)of the former and / or presentdrinking patients.2.The current situation and single factor analysis of benefit finding in lung cancer patients:The mean score of benefit discovery scale was(2.94±0.57),in which item 4 "make my family closer" is the highest score(3.12 + 0.97).Item 9 "makes me more aware of the future of mankind and worried about it" was the lowest score(2.47±1.07).There were significant differences in age, education level, disease stage and treatment mode of patients with benefit findings score, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Symptom burden of lung cancer patients and single factor analysis:The highest score of symptom burden of lung cancer patients was restless sleep and fatigue, the score was(5.28±1.78)and(5.28±1.59),the lowest score was sleepiness, the score was(2.53±0.99).There were significant differences in age, disease stage and symptom burden(P < 0.05).4.Quality of life of lung cancer patients and single factor analysis: The quality of life score of lung cancer patients was(1.98±0.82),and the order of the scores from high to low was:social / family status, physiological status, functional status, additional status, emotional status. The scores of each dimension were(2.18±0.64),(1.97±0.49),(1.95±0.70),(1.93±0.59),(1.41±0.57),respectively.The results of monofactor analysis showed that there were significant differences in age, family income and disease stage between patients with lung cancer and their quality of life scores(P < 0.05).5.After the correlation analysis among the benefit finding, symptom burden and quality of life of patients with lung cancer,it is concluded that the benefit finding is positively correlated with the quality of life(r=0.245);the symptom burden is negatively correlated with the quality of life,(r=-0.116);and the benefit finding is negatively correlated with the symptom burden(r=-0.385).Conclusion:1.Most lung cancer patients have found varying degrees of benefit during treatment, the symptom burden level of lung cancer patients is in the light and medium level. The scores of each dimension of quality of life from high to low were social/family status, physiological status, functional status, additional status and emotional status.2.There is a correlation among benefit findings, symptom burden and quality of life.Improving the level of benefit findings and reducing symptom burden will help to improve the quality of life of lung cancer patients, and can also be used to help solve the nursing related problems of lung cancer patients in clinical.3.The influencing factors of quality of life of lung cancer patients include benefit findings, symptom burden, marriage relationship, disease stage, etc, among which benefit finding is the most predictive.
