A Preliminary Study On The Correlation Between TCM Syndrome Types And Alcohol Consumption And Thromboelastogram Of Coronary Heart Disease

Objective:To observe the difference in alcohol consumption between different traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome types of coronary heart disease(CHD),and the correlation between alcohol consumption and TCM syndrome types and the main parameters of thromboelastogram(TEG).Try to explore pathogenesis based on TCM theories.Methods:192 patients with CHD according with Inclusion criteria were selected,and all the patients were allocated into non-drinking group,drinking already quit group,light drinking group,moderate drinking group and heavy drinking group by questionnaire,and all patients underwent the general situation investigation,TCM syndrome differentiation and typing,and measure TEG.After summarizing the data,statistic analysis was applied to evaluate the difference in alcohol consumption between different TCM syndromes types,and the correlation between alcohol consumption and TCM syndromes types and the main parameters of TEG.Results:1.There were significant differences in the overall distribution of TCM syndromes and alcohol consumption in sex,age,Body Mass Index,hypertension type 2 diabetes and smoking history(P<0.05).2.The overall distribution of alcohol consumption in different TCM syndromes types was different(P<0.05).The order of alcohol consumption from large to small in each group was as follows:phlegm blocking heart pulse>phlegm and blood stasis>qi and yin deficiency>qi deficiency and blood stasis>qi stagnation and blood stasis.3.There was a statistically difference in the overall distribution of CI?MA?R?K?Angle° with TEG between different TCM syndromes types(P<0.05);4.alcohol consumption was strongly correlated with CI.MA?R?K?Angle°(P<0.01),and alcohol consumption was negatively correlated with CI?MA?Angle°and positively correlated with R?K(rs=-0.876,-0.764,0.831,0.837,-0.834).Conclusion:1.TCM syndrome type have some correlation with alcohol consumption and risk factors of CHD(obesity,smoking,hypertension,diabetes);2.Patients with high alcohol intake often showed phlegm blocking heart pulse syndrome,phlegm and blood stasis mutual obstruction syndrome,qi and yin deficiency syndrome;3.The correlation between blood stasis syndrome of CHD with coagulation factor activity,platelet aggregation function and fibrinogen level was found;4.moderate alcohol consumption may have a role in inhibiting coagulation factor activity,inhibiting platelet aggregation,reducing fibrinogen.
