Objective: By collecting clinical data of moyamoya disease(MMD)patients,we explored the correlation between MMD and anemia related indicators, and analyzed the disease characteristics of ischemic and hemorrhagic MMD.Then we looked for risk factors affecting the incidence of MMD and the types of stroke caused by MMD.Methods: The patients diagnosed with MMD by cerebrovascular angiography from January 2016 to December 2018 in affiliated hospital of Jining medical university were collected, and patients diagnosed with non-MMD by cerebrovascular angiography during the same period were collected as the control group.General data, and relevant laboratory indexes, were collected, such as mean erythrocyte volume(MCV),mean hemoglobin volume(MCH),mean hemoglobin concentration(MCHC),platelet blood lipid and blood glucose homocysteine,et al.The differences of anemia and other related clinical indicators between the two groups were analyzed, and the risk factors affecting ischemic and hemorrhagic MMD were analyzed. Results: Mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH)and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC)of patients with MMD were less than patients with non-MMD(P<0.05).There were more mild anemia and moderate anemia patients in MMD than non-MMD(P=0.002).Age and sex stratification analysis indicated that MCV,MCH and MCHC in MMD were lower than non-MMD among patients aged 41-60 years(P<0.05).MCV,MCH and MCHC in MMD was all lower than non-MMD among female patients(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis found that MCH was correlated with MMD(OR=0.862,95% CI 0.754-0.986,P=0.03),and its reduction may be a risk factor for MMD.Female(OR=1.461,95% CI 1.110-1.924,P=0.007)was the risk factor of MMD,and age(OR=0.936,95% CI 0.924-0.948,P<0.001)was the protective factor for the of MMD.Single factor analysis showed that anemia, red blood cell, hemoglobin, hypertension, diabetes, fasting plasma glucose and triglyceride were statistically significant between the ischemic and hemorrhagic groups(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis found that mild anemia(OR=0.482,95%CI 0.237-0.978,P=0.043)may be a risk factor for hemorrhagic MMD,while diabetes mellitus(OR=4.968,95%CI 1.652-14.939,P=0.004)and hypertension(OR=1.699,95%CI 1.028-2.810,P=0.039)were risk factors of Ischemic MMD.Conclusions: MCH reduction may be a risk factor for MMD.Female is a risk factor of MMD,and age is a protective factor of MMD.Mild anemia may be a risk factor for hemorrhagic MMD.Diabetes and hypertension may be risk factors for ischemic MMD.
