Purpose:This study compares the clinical efficacy of Gubi Heji oral Herbal paste and Gubi Mixture on knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency,in order to give patients one more choice in the type of medication used to treat the disease.Method:Patients with knee osteoarthritis diagnosed with liver and kidney deficiency were selected from the orthopaedic clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2018 to March 2019,and randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and the mixture control group.40 cases,a total of 80 cases.The treatment group was given Gubi Heji oral Herbal paste and the control group was given oral Gubi Mixture.The clinical efficacy,VAS score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index of the two groups of patients before enrollment,6 weeks and 2 months of treatment were observed.Score,TCM symptom score,liver and kidney function and other indicators.Result:In the final total sample of 75 cases,the gender,age,course of disease,and X-ray grading were compared between the two groups before treatment,and there was no statistical difference(P> 0.05),which was comparable.1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the VAS pain scores of the study subjects(P> 0.05).After treatment,the VAS pain scores of the two groups were reduced compared with those before the treatment(P <0.01).There was no significant statistics between the two groups.The difference(P> 0.05),the two have the same effect in improving pain.2.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups of subjects(P> 0.05).After treatment,the WOMAC score of both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P <0.01).Statistical difference(P> 0.5).3.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups of subjects(P> 0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups and the pre-treatment decreased(P <0.01).Compared between the two groups,there was no Significant statistical difference(P> 0.05),2 months follow-up at the end of treatment,comparison of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P = 0.041 <0.05),indicating that Gubi Heji oral Herbal paste has a more effective drug than Gubiheji The group is more durable.4.Before and after treatment,the total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was 89.5%,and in the control group was 86.5%.5.There were no significant changes in ALT,AST,BUN and CR in both groups before and after treatment(P> 0.05).There were no obvious side effects of the two groups of drugs,and the safety was good.Conclusion:Gubi Heji oral Herbal paste and Gubiheji have clinical effects on knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency.There is no statistical difference between the two on the VAS pain score and WOMAC.In terms of improving the TCM syndrome,the 2-month follow-up showed that the Zhuangfang group was significantly better than the control group in the long-term efficacy,indicating that the Zhuangfang group's long-term intervention effect is more stable and lasting.
