Objective: This study used syndrome differentiation system of the six meridiams syndromes,in order to explore the distribution of the syndrome and treatment of ulcerative colitis. And then providing a foundation for the clinical use of syndrome differentiation system of the six meridiams treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods: Based on the elements of six meridian syndromes, western medicine diagnostic criteria, make observation in patients with six meridian syndromessix meridian syndromes data table, who had ulcerative colitis.By collecting from January 2016 to December 2019 in the first affiliatedhospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine,Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine,Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Yu Lin,and met inclusion and exclusion criteria of the 149 patients' medical records.Medical records were collected from 149 patients with ulcerative colitis, who met the inclusion, exclusion criteria, and Elimination criteria, and recorded the patient's basic information,TCM fourdiagnosis information collection, colonoscopy, intestinal mucosal pathology, and medication, etc.System of the six meridiams wasprocessed to explore the distribution of six syndromes.Spss 20 statistical software and Excel was used to analyze and process the date,to explore the distribution regularity of six meridian syndrome types in patients. Results: 1.Among the 149 patients with research object in this study, the incidence rate for men and women was 1.04: 1,and male was more than female. It is most common in men aged 31-40 years old, while females' predilection age was 51-60 years old.The average age was 46.54 ± 14.52 years. The average BMI was 21.37 ± 2.98 kg /m2.2.In this study, there was more urban patients than rural patients, and the incidence of mental workers was higher than manual workers(P <0.05).3.In this study, the course of this study was 1-5 years, the clinical type was mainly chronic recurrence, the lesion was left hemicolon and mainlyrectum, the severity was mild and moderate, the active period was significantly more than remission periodthe.4.In this study,The clinical patients of the subject were mainly demucus stool(64.43%),blood stool(59.06%),abdominal pain(53.02%),diarrhea(48.32%),stool rot(32.21%),etc.The following are mucosalhyperemia(50.43%),erosion(40.94%),ulcer(37.58%),and Increased intestinal mucosal purulent secretions(37.58%).The pathological manifestations was more common in cryptitis(26.85%),crypt abscess(29.53%).5.In this study, the most common six syndromes differentiation type was Yangming syndrome which was found in 50 cases, accounted for 33.56%).And then was Taiyin syndrome which was found in 47 cases, accounted for 31.54%.The least incidence was Taiyang syndrome, which was found in 2 Cases, accounting for 1.34%.The frequency of the six syndrome types was Yangming syndrome > Taiyin syndrome > Shaoyang syndrome > Shaoyin syndrome > Jueyin syndrome > Taiyang syndrome.6.In this study,The significant differences in six meridian syndromes, age and sex(P<0.05),young patients with Yangming Syndrome,middle-aged with Taiyin Syndrome and elderly patients with shaoyin Syndrome.male patients with Yangming Syndrome.Taiyin syndrome was more common in female patients.7.In this study,The difference between six meridian syndromes and duration of illness, clinical stage was significant(P<0.05).There wasn't correlation between six meridian syndromes and lesion size, the clinical type, the severity(P > 0.05).The active stage was mainly Yangming syndrome, the remission stage was Taiyin syndrome.Less than 1 year in the six meridian syndromes had more common cases of Yangming Syndrome, the course of more then 1 years was mostly common found in Taiyin Syndromes.8.In this study,There was different between six meridian syndromes and colonoscopy and pathological manifestations(P<0.05).mucosalhyperemia,edema,colon polyps were common performance in Taiyin Syndrome.Erosion, ulcer, increased intestinal mucosal purulent secretions were common performance in Yangming Syndrome. The pathological manifestations of cryptitis, crypt abscess and crypt structure change accounted for the largest proportion of Yangming Syndrome, and granulation tissue hyperplasia accounted for the largest proportion in patients with Taiyin Syndrome.9.In this study, the most frequent used of traditional Chinese medicines in this case were supplementing drugs, followed by heat-clearing drugs, blood stasis and hemostatic drugs, damp dampening drugs, and qi-eliminating drugs. The top three frequencies of single-medicine were Licorice,Atractylodes,Poria. The most frequently used enema topical formulas were heat-clearing drugs, followed by hemostatics,tonics,dampness-releasing drugs, and qi-regulating drugs. The top three frequencies of single-medicine used were Berberine,Manchurian elm,Pulsatilla chinensis / Atractylodes. Conclusion: 1.In the six meridian Syndromes of ulcerative colitis,fem-ale was more common in Taiyin Syndrome, and Male was more common in Yangming Syndrome.Young was more common in Yangming Syndrome,middle-aged was more common in Taiyin Syndrome, and elderly were more common in Shaoyin Syndrome.2.The six meridian syndrome classification is more common in the Yangming syndrome,Taiyin syndrome, and Shaoyang syndrome.3.There is a correlation between the six meridian classification of ulcerative colitis and duration of illness, clinical stage.4.The six meridian Syndromes of ulcerative colitis was related to intestinal mucosal features and histopathology, which could provide a reference for the six meridian Syndromes.5.Oral treatment of ulcerative colitis of remission stage was mainly based on tonic deficiencyof Taiyin, and the active stage was mainly dampness and heat of the Yangming Syndromes.Topical enemas are mainly heat-clearing.The focus is on the local symptoms. The six classics syndromes can be treated from Yangming syndrome and Taiyin syndrome.
