ObjectiveTo explore a nursing intervention program for ICU transferring patients'families based on SBAR communication mode, analysis its impact on relocation stress, coping style and satisfaction of ICU transferring patients'families, and provide reference for clinical nursing practice to improve the physical and mental health of ICU transferring patients'families.MethodsA total of 126 ICU transferring patients'families who met inclusion criteria were selected in a tertiary hospital in Dalian.Continuous sampling,63 patients'families from November 2018 to February 2019 were randomly selected as experimental group. From March to June 2019,63 patients'families were randomly selected as control group.Experimental group implemented ICU transferring patients'families nursing intervention program based on SBAR communication mode on basis of ICU transfer routine nursing,Control group implemented ICU transfer routine nursing. The general situation questionnaire of patient's families, the Family relocation stress scale during patient transferred from ICU,the Simplified Coping Style Scale and the Chinese version of Critical Care Family Satisfaction Survey surveyed the level of relocation stress, coping style and satisfaction before and after intervention program.Using SPSS 25.0statistical software package for statistical analysis. The statistical methods included descriptive statistics analysis,c~2 test, two independent samples t test, and so on.Results1.Before intervention, there were no significant difference in general condition, relocation stress, coping style, satisfaction scores between the two groups(P>0.05).2.After intervention, the total score and scores of each dimension(including self-efficacy of care ability, safety of transfer process, change of nursing mode, severity of illness, environmental change, and especially transfer anxiety)of relocation stress of ICU transferring patients'families in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3.After intervention, the two groups of positive coping style scores of ICU transferring patients'families were higher than the negative coping style scores, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).4.After intervention, the total score and scores of each dimension(access to information, condition assurance, acceptance, support and comfort)of satisfaction of ICU transferring patients'families in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The implementation of intervention program for ICU transferring patient's families based on SBAR communication mode can effectively reduce the level of relocation stress;2.The implementation of intervention program for ICU transferring patient's families based on SBAR communication mode can effectively promote them to take a positive coping style;3.The implementation of intervention program for ICU transferring patient's families based on SBAR communication mode can effectively improve them to have the higher satisfaction;4.The structured and programmed SBAR communication mode can be used as a routine nursing intervention program for ICU transferring patients'families to improve their physical and mental health,it is worthy of promotion and application in clinical nursing practice.
