Objective: To observe the effect of warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping on knee osteoarthritis(KOA)of blood stasis type, and its effect on serum interleukin-1?(IL-1?)content,to explore its possible mechanism, and to provide new ideas and new methods for acupuncture treatment of KOA.Methods: A total of 80 patients with blood stasis type KOA who met the inclusion criteria were collected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group of 40 cases according to the random number table method. The treatment group was treated with warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping, and the control group was treated with celecoxib capsule orally.Patients in both groups were treated continuously for3 weeks.Observe and compare the pain visual analog scale(VAS)score, knee osteoarthritis index assessment table(WOMAC)score, serum interleukin-1?(IL-1?)content,and the total effective rate of the two groups before and after treatment.Adverse reactions during treatment were recorded. Results: In this study,80 effective cases were completed, and there were no cases of shedding. The statistical results showed:(1)Comparison of baseline data such as gender, age, course of disease, body mass index, and X-ray grading between the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05),and were comparable.(2)Comparison of VAS score,WOMAC score(including pain, stiffness, and difficulty of daily activities)and serum IL-1?levels in the two groups:(1)There was no statistically significant difference between the groups before treatment(P>0.05),and they were comparable;(2)The difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)After treatment, the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)After treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was 87.5%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 67.5%.The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The results show that both groups of treatment can improve symptoms such as knee pain, stiffness, and difficulty in daily activities, and reduce serum IL-1? content in patients with blood stasis type KOA,and the improvement degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:(1)Warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping therapy and oral celecoxib capsules can effectively improve the symptoms of pain, stiffness, and difficulty in daily activities in patients with blood stasis block type KOA,and reduce the level of serum inflammatory factor IL-1?.The improvement degree of warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping therapy was better than that of the oral celecoxib capsule group.(2)The mechanism of effect of warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture and cupping therapy on KOA of blood stasis type may be related to reducing the level of serum inflammatory factor IL-1?.(3)Warm acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture for the treatment of blood stasis type KOA is significant, and its effect is better than that of the oral celecoxib capsule group. The operation is simple, safe and has good clinical promotion value.
