Objective: thyroidectomy is potentially dangerous for all parathyroids and nerves.Neural recognition reduces the incidence of nerve injury in thyroid surgery.Intraoperative neuromonitoring is an auxiliary means of neurovisual recognition.The purpose of this clinical trial is to explore the clinical efficacy of the recurrent laryngeal nerve monitor in thyroid surgery.Methods: from January 2018 to August 2019,a retrospective study was conducted to analyze 80 patients who underwent thyroid surgery in yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College.80 patients were divided into two groups,one group was using RLN monitor during the operation,the other group was used as the control group,i.e.not using RLN monitor.The operation time,bleeding volume,RLN recognition time and RLN injury were recorded in 80 patients.The above recorded indexes were analyzed by retrospective analysis Research,and come to a conclusion.Results: during the operation: the basic conditions(average age,sex ratio,tumor size and benign malignant ratio)of the experimental group and the control group were almost the same,there was no significant difference.The operation time of the experimental group was less than that of the control group(95.6 +-35.3minvs135.3 + ?43.5min,P < 0.05),According to the collected experimental data,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(24.5 +-5.35mlvs25.3 +-7.02 mlp > 0.05).The time required for the separation of RLN in the experimental group was significantly faster than that in the control group.Postoperative indicators: four patients in the control group had temporary hoarseness,no permanent hoarseness,and no temporary hoarseness in the experimental group.Conclusion: intraoperative detection of recurrent laryngeal nerve(IONM)can reduce the time of thyroid surgery,help clinical surgeons to find and separate the recurrent laryngeal nerve quickly,avoid nerve injury,and have no significant improvement in the amount of bleeding during the operation.Therefore,IONM can improve doctors' clinical proficiency and reduce the injury of recurrent laryngeal nerve after thyroid surgery.It has certain significance for clinical thyroid operation.
