Objective As a global health problem, cerebrovascular disease is still on the rise in China in recent years.Symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid artery stenosis is an important form of cerebrovascular disease, and the pathogenesis can be divided into two types: transient ischemic attack and ischemic stroke. The purpose of this article is to explore the distribution characteristics of TCM constitutions and syndrome elements of symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid artery stenosis, and their correlation with dyslipidemia, apolipoprotein A ? and apolipoprotein B.Methods This study used a randomized controlled method. The 120 patients included in the study were all from the outpatient or inpatient department of the Department of Encephalology(Neurology)of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from January 1,2019 to December 31,2019.They were divided into control group and experimental group, and the experimental components were divided into transient ischemic attack group and ischemic stroke group according to the pathogenesis.According to the collected information and data to establish an Excel database, statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 19.0 statistical software. Results: 1.The frequency of sputum turbidity syndrome in patients with transient ischemic attack group is the highest among the six syndromes, and the other syndrome elements are from Qi deficiency syndrome,Blood Stasis Syndrome,Qi stagnation syndrome,Yin deficiency syndrome, and Fiery fever syndrome.Among all patients in the ischemic stroke group, the frequency of the occurrence of TCM syndrome elements are as follows: Internal wind syndrome,Phlegm dampness syndrome,Blood stasis syndrome,Yin deficiency syndrome,Qi deficiency syndrome, and Internal fire syndrome.2.The proportion of qi-asthenia and phlegm-dampness in the transient ischemic attack group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),while the proportion of mild was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of phlegm, dampness and blood stasis in the ischemic stroke group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistical difference(P<0.05),and the proportion of evenness was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).Phlegm dampness and qi deficiency are positively correlated with transient ischemic attacks(P<0.05),phlegm dampness and blood stasis are positively correlated with ischemic stroke(P <0.05).The incidence of ischemic attack and ischemic stroke was negatively correlated(P<0.05).3.The levels of total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and apolipoprotein A? and B in patients with transient ischemic attack and ischemic stroke were similar to those in the control group, which was a correlation(P < 0.05).Among them, total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B were positively correlated with transient ischemic attack group and ischemic stroke(P < 0.05).Apolipoprotein A?and high Density lipoprotein cholesterol was negatively correlated with the occurrence of both(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.TCM syndrome elements of symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid artery stenosis are closely related to wind, phlegm, deficiency and stasis.2.There is a positive correlation between phlegm dampness and qi deficiency and transient ischemic attack;Phlegm and blood stasis are positively related to the occurrence of ischemic stroke;Peace and quality were negatively correlated with the occurrence of transient ischemic attack and ischemic stroke. The dangerous constitutions suggesting the formation and onset of symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid artery stenosis are phlegm dampness, blood stasis, and qi deficiency, while peace is a protective constitution.3.Total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B were positively correlated with symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid artery stenosis;Apolipoprotein A ? and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol are inversely related to the occurrence of the disease. This indicates that fasting total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B are risk factors for symptomatic atherosclerotic internal carotid stenosis, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and apolipoprotein A? are protective factors.4.We should adjust phlegm dampness, blood stasis and qi deficiency constitution to be gentle, and timely intervene in blood lipid, apolipoprotein A?,apolipoprotein B,which will reduce the incidence.During the treatment,we can pay attention to the elements of wind, phlegm, deficiency, and stasis, and accurately identify the prescription of prescriptions.
