Objective:To study the mechanism and operation of acupotomy in treating Cervicogenic headache, and to observe the clinical effect of acupotomy in treating Cervicogenic headache, and to compare with the routine acupuncture group and to evaluate the related indexes and clinical efficacy,in order to provide new ideas in clinical practice. It provides the practice verification and the scientific basis for the future Cervicogenic headache treatment.Methods:64 eligible patients were randomly divided into two groups by statistical software:acupotomy group and routine acupuncture group, and each group had 32 cases.Acupotomy group was treated once a week on Thursday,a total of 4 times. The routine acupuncture group was treated 5 days a week, once a day,and 2 days a week for a rest, for a total of 20 times in 4 weeks. Both groups were followed up for four weeks after treatment, and the whole study period was 56 days.Visual analogue scale(VAS),Cervical Range Of Motion(CROM),Total Scores of Accompanying Symptoms(TSAS)and clinical effect were compared between the two groups on the first day before treatment, the 28 th day after treatment and the56 th day after treatment.SPSS20 was used for data integration analysis.Results:(1)The scores of VAS,CROM and TSAS before treatment were compared between the two groups(p>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups.(2)The VAS :before and after treatment, the VAS of the two groups were significantly lower(p<0.05)on the 28 th day and 56 th day,and there was no significant difference(p>0.05)between the two groups The VAS of the acupotomy group was lower than that of the routine acupuncture group on the 56 th day during the study period(p<0.05).(3)The CROM scores:before and after treatment, the CROM scores of the two groups were compared:On the 28 th day and the 56 th day,the CROM scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment(p < 0.05);There was no significant difference in CROM scores between the 28 th day and 56 th day during the study period(p > 0.05).(4)TSAS:before and after treatment,TSAS of the two groups were significantly lower than those of the control group(p<0.05)on the 28 th day and the 56 th day,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(p > 0.05)TSAS of acupotomy group was lower than that of routine acupuncture group at the 56 th day of the study period(p< 0.05).(5)Comparison of Clinical Curative Effect Between Two groups: After treatment, the effective rate of acupotomy group was 93.55%,and that of routine acupuncture group was 80.65%.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(6)Safety evaluation of the two groups: no serious adverse events occurred in the course of treatment.Conclusion:(1)acupotomy therapy and acupuncture therapy are effective in improving the symptoms of Cervicogenic headache pain and the concomitant symptoms of Cervicogenic headache. The difference between acupotomy therapy and acupuncture therapy is not significant in the near future, but the long-term effect of acupotomy therapy is better.(2)acupotomy and acupuncture can improve the mobility of cervical spine, and the difference is not significant.(3)acupotomology is effective and safe in the treatment of Cervicogenic Headache, which is worthy of further clinical study.
