Clinical Effect Of Acupuncture And Drug Combination Therapy On Premature Ovarian Failure

Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture therapy on the patients with premature ovarian failure at each stage,including the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment in the aspects of menstrual cycle,menstrual period,endocrine level and concomitant symptoms.To explore the mechanism of acupuncture and drug combination and provide useful ideas for the clinical treatment of premature ovarian failure.Methods: 40 patients meeting the inclusion criteria of this study were selected and randomly divided into drug treatment group and acupuncture and drug combination group,20 patients in each group.The drug treatment group was treated with artificial cycle therapy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine,while the acupuncture and drug combination group was treated with artificial cycle therapy of acupuncture and drug combination with western medicine,with a course of three menstrual cycles.Before and after treatment,sex hormone levels,improvement of clinical symptoms and The changes of menstruation were observed.Results: 1.there were significant differences in serum sex hormones FSH and LH before and after treatment in the acupuncture and drug combination group(p<0.01),and no significant differences in E2(p>0.05).The drug treatment group could improve LH level(p<0.05),but had no significant effect on improving FSH and E2 levels(p>0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the improvement of FSH,LH and E2 levels in the two groups was comparable(p>0.05).4.Before and after treatment,the two groups could significantly improve the patients' menstrual cycle,menstrual period,Kupperman score,and SAS score,with significant efficacy(p<0.05).After 3 treatments,the two groups had similar efficacy in improving Kupperman score,SAS score and menstrual period(p>0.05),and the combination group was superior to the medication group in improving menstrual cycle(p<0.05).3.The total effective rate was 80.00% in the combined acupuncture and drug treatment group,and 76.47% in the drug treatment group.There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).The clinical comprehensive effect of combined acupuncture and drug treatment on patients with premature ovarian failure was more obvious.Conclusion: acupuncture combined with western medicine artificial cycle therapy can significantly improve the menstrual status,hormone levels and concomitant symptoms in patients with premature ovarian failure.It is significantly better than the drug treatment group in the treatment of menses related symptoms,and has a significant effect on the recovery of ovarian function.
