Purpose:Through discussing the current situation of male nurses' willingness to stay in job in Changchun,analyzing the influencing factors,and according to the influencing factors of male nurses' willingness to stay in job,the nursing countermeasures were worked out,to provide reference for the implementation of targeted nursing measures,to enhance the stability of male nurses,and to provide theoretical basis for the nursing management of male nurses.Method:A questionnaire survey was conducted among 420 male nurses from 6 Grade III,Class A hospital in Changchun by using the method of overall sampling.The questionnaire was distributed from October 2018 to October 2019.Using the self-made questionnaire,the nurses' job stressor scale and the nurses' job retention willingness scale as the research tools,the questionnaires were conducted,data were collected,and the forms were collated and entered into the EXCEL by two people,after establishing the database,SPSS22.0 was used to analyze the statistical data and analyze the influencing factors.Result:A total of 412 questionnaires were collected from male nurses in Changchun.The response rate was 98.10%.The total score of willingness to stay was(18.31±3.07),and the total score was(3.05 ±0.51).The total score of male nurses' job stressors was(110.33 ±12.27),and the average was(3.15±0.35).Results of two independent samples t-test or one-way Anova showed that,the influencing factors of male nurses' intention to stay in their posts were age,working years,job nature,residence status,income satisfaction,position,average weekly overtime work,marital status,professional title and working years of undergraduate departments,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The scores of retention intention of male nurses and the total scores of work stressors and the scores of various dimensions were in accordance with normal distribution,there was a negative correlation between the total score of work stressors,the problem of workload andtime distribution,the problem of working environment and resources,the problem of patient care,the problem of management and interpersonal relationship,and the total score of retention intention(P<0.01),there was a positive correlation between nursing professional and job problems and the total score of retention intention(P<0.05).The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the factors influencing the total score of male nurses' willingness to stay on duty in this study,in order of importance,the working years(-0.476),working years(0.340),age(0.304),professional title(-0.269),marital status(0.179),total score of work stressors(-0.164),job nature(-0.107)and average weekly overtime(-0.087).Conclusion:Male nurses' willingness to stay in Changchun Grade III,Class A hospital was above the middle level,and their total score of job stressors was above the middle level,which needed to be further improved.Age,working years,job nature,living situation,income satisfaction,position,average weekly overtime,marital status,title and working years of undergraduate department were the influencing factors of male nurses' willingness to stay in their posts.The correlation between the total score of male nurses' willingness to stay and the source of job stress was analyzed,and the results showed positive correlation.According to the analysis of the influencing factors,an intervention plan was made to influence the level of male nurses' willingness to stay in their posts,and the advantages of male nurses in the nursing team were used to play the role of male nurses in an all-round way and stabilize the nursing team of male nurses.
