Objective:To observe the improvement of visual acuity, visual field and VEP in the treatment of optic nerve atrophy secondary to "qi and blood deficiency" type ischemic papillary lesions by using press-acupuncture,and to compare with the positive drug group, and to objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of press-acupuncture implantation. Methods:A total of 60 patients with secondary optic nerve atrophy from ischemic papillary lesions diagnosed as "deficiency of qi and blood" were collected. The patients were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method in the order of visit. In the control group, mecobalamin tablets and compound camphorycin injection were given by ball-side injection, and in the treatment group, acupuncture acupuncture was added to the control group. The changes of main clinical symptoms, visual acuity, visual field and p-vep in the two groups before and after treatment were observed, and the safety indexes were detected.Results:1.After treatment, the visual acuity of the two groups was improved, but the comparison between the two groups showed no statistical difference with P=0.738>0.05,so it could not be explained that the therapeutic effect of visual acuity increase in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.2.The visual field parameters MD,MS and the visual field parameters MD in the treatment group were improved after treatment, showing statistical difference(P=<0.05);MS in the control group showed no statistical difference after treatment(P > 0.05).However,after testing and treatment, the MD value of the two groups was P=0.004<0.05,showing a statistical difference. The average visual field sensitivity MD of the treatment group was improved better than that of the control group.MS,P=0.435>0.05,showing no statistical difference,so it cannot be considered that the efficacy of MS in the treatment group is better than that in the control group.3.After treatment, the amplitude of P100 in the two groups was tested and P=0.005 < 0.05,showing a statistical difference. Therefore, the amplitude of P100 in the treatment group was considered to be superior to that in the control group. After treatment, the latency of P100 in both groups improved(P=<0.05),and the intergroup comparison showed a statistical difference(P=0.003<0.05).The improvement of the latency of P100 in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.4.There was no statistical difference in the reduction of TCM syndrome score in the control group(P > 0.05),while there was statistical difference in the treatment group(P < 0.05).5.The effective rate of patients in the treatment group was 66.67%,and that of patients in the control group was 46.67%.By chi-square test,P=0.38 > 0.05,showing no statistical significance,so the effective rate of the treatment group could not be considered higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Compared with western medicine, the treatment of press-assisted acupuncture plus western medicine has a slight advantage in improving vision, reducing average defect of field of vision, improving p-vep and improving TCM syndromes, which provides a new way of thinking and means for the treatment of optic nerve atrophy.
