Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding "Waist Five Needles" In The Treatment Of Kidney Deficiency Type Lumbago

Objective: The purpose of this project is to provide a more optimized treatment idea for clinical treatment of kidney deficiency type of low back pain through the observation of therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding "waist five needle" compared with ordinary acupuncture.Methods: From January 2019 to December 2019,72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were treated in the orthopaedic outpatient department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine,The patients were divided into two groups by random envelope method,36 cases in the experimental group(acupoint catgut embedding group)and 36 cases in the control group(ordinary acupuncture group).The changes of symptom score,physical sign score,NRS score and ODI dysfunction index were observed and the overall efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.Results: Both groups completed the treatment as required,and no adverse events occurred during this period.1.Before treatment,the general conditions(gender,age and course of disease),symptom score,sign score,NRS score and ODI score were compared,there was no statistical difference,and they were comparable;2.Before and after treatment of the two groups of patients Within the group comparison,the symptom score,sign score,NRS score and ODI score were all lower than before,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the two therapies were effective in improving the symptoms,signs,pain and waist dysfunction in patients with kidney deficiency type low back pain;3.The difference in symptom score,physical score score,NRS score and ODI score between the two groups before and after treatment,the acupoint embedding group is larger than the ordinary acupuncture group,the difference is statistically significant,indicating that in improving the symptoms of patients with kidney deficiency and low back pain In terms of physical signs,pain relief,and lumbar dysfunction,theacupoint embedding group is superior to the ordinary acupuncture group.Conclusion:1.In this study,acupoint catgut embedding therapy and ordinary acupuncture therapy were effective in treating patients with low back pain caused by kidney deficiency.2.In terms of improving the symptoms and signs of patients with kidney deficiency and low back pain,and relieving patients’ pain and waist dysfunction,the acupoint embedding group is superior to the ordinary acupuncture group.3.The method of embedding acupoints at the acupoints is effective for the treatment of low back pain caused by kidney deficiency.
