Objective:To understand the current epidemic characteristics and influencing factors of metabolic syndro me(MS)in Kazak herdsmen in Nanshan pastoral area of Xinjiang,so as to provide scientific basis for the formulation of comprehensive prevention and control strategies of MS.Methods:from January to October 2018,7453 Kazak herdsmen aged?18 years in Nanshan pastoral area of Xinjiang were investigated with questionnaire, physical examination and blood sample test by multi-stage stratified random cluster sampling.ResultsResults:(1)The prevalence rate of MS was 35.11%and the standardized prevalence rate was 33.46%in Kazak herdsmen in Nanshan pastoral area of Xinjiang. With the increase of BMI,the prevalence rate of MS increased gradually(?~2trend=1485.436,P<0.05).(2)By fitting the regression curve of age and the number of MS components, the number of MS components increased with the increase of age;(3)MS The results showed that the proportion of abnormal components was 23.88%(1780 cases),25.31%(1889 cases),15.71%(1171 cases),25.59%(1907 cases),8.24%(614 cases)and1.27%(95 cases),respectively,(4)and the risk of abnormal components was 2.895(or=2.895,95%CI:2.586-3.242)Compared with 18-44-year-old group, the risk of MS was higher in the age group of 65 and over(or=4.298,95%CI:3.750-4.927).(5)After controlling the age,BMI and education, the multiple factor unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that the probability of MS in women was 2.06 times higher than that in men(95%CI:1.74-2.06),and the risk of MS in overweight group was higher than that in normal group(or=4.298,95%CI:3.750-4.927)2.53 times(95%CI:2.204-2.908),10.96 times(95%CI:9.591-12.519),1.23 times(95%CI:1.03-1.54)and1.48 times(95%CI:1 1.06-2.07),the risk of MS was 2.60 times(95%CI:1.27-3.11),4.17times(95%CI:3.69-4.72)and 1.58 times(95%CI 1.27-1.97),daily exercise is the protective factor of MS,occasional exercise and no exercise are the risk factors of MS,which are 1.64 times(95%CI:1.17-2.07)and 1.79 times(95%CI:1.35-2.39)of daily exercise, family history of hypertension is the risk factor of MS(or=1.17,95%CI:1.02-1.34),family history of coronary heart disease is also the risk factor of MS(or=1.23,95%CI:1.02-1.49).Conclusion:The prevalence rate of MS in Kazak herdsmen in Nanshan pastoral area is higher than the national average level.Central obesity is the most important component of MS in this area, among which women, age, overweight and obesity, unhealthy diet and lifestyle(mainly meat food, salt, oil, smoking, not participating in exercise),family history of hypertension and family history of coronary heart disease are the main risk factors of MS,and cultural process The higher degree, the balance of meat and vegetable, and daily exercise are the protective factors of Ms.according to the research results, the targeted MS prevention strategies are formulated for Kazak herdsmen in Nanshan pastoral area of Xinjiang.
