Objective: To explore the composition characteristics and prognosis risk factors ofprimary hepatic cancer in Xin jiang Kazakh. Methods: We retrospectively studied106cases of primary hepatic carcinoma. The Cox regression model was used to find thefactors which independently determined the prognosis. The survival rate was calculatedand the outcome of different treatments using the Kaplan Meier method was evaluated.Result: Among those with confirmed liver carcinoma,53.8%patients had no history ofchronic hepatitis. The1-,2-and3-year survival rates for patients which received surgicaloperation were77.8%、60.3%and49.5%respectively, for those which receivedinterven-tion treatment,72.9%,34.4%and19.8%, for those who received conservationtreatment,39.0%、24.3%and18.6%. Conclusion: The causes of primary hepaticcarcinoma are different between Kazakh and Han patients; Eating and living habits may bethe main factors in pathogenesis of primary hepatic carcinoma. Alcohol drinking、methodof treatment、metastasis and Child-Pugh staging are the independent factors relevant to theprognosis of hepatocarcinoma. Operation is still the preferred method of treatment.
