Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics of patients with vitiligo in this area and its correlation with thyroid function is helpful to the comprehensive understanding and early intervention and treatment of vitiligo in this area. Methods: Patients with vitiligo and physical examination in the same period from September 2017 to September2019 were collected.516 patients with vitiligo were selected as the case group and 403 patients who underwent physical examination in the same period were selected as the control group. The clinical data and thyroid function test results were collected and analyzed by SPSS25.0.RESULTS: 1 mong the 516 patients, there were 242 males(46.90%)and 274 females(53.10%),the ratio of male to female was 1.13.Vitiligo was common in young and middle-aged patients, and the average age of onset was 31.05±17.35 years old;The age of onset in male patients(28.53 ±15.54 years old)was lower than that in females(33.29 ±18.55 years old),the average course of disease was 42.65±72.12 months, and there were 295 cases(57.17%)whose course of disease was less than1 year;2 Sporadic patients were the most common(60.10%),427 patients(82.80%)were in advanced stage, and the exposed sites(61.05%)involved the face and neck most easily;the proportion of segmental type and localized type of vitiligo in children was higher than that in adults, but there was no significant difference in sex composition, stage, site of skin lesion, area of skin lesion, hair involvement and family history.3 20 patients(3.88%)had a clear family history, and those with family history were more serious and more likely to involve hair.there was no statistical significance in the area, location, classification, age of onset, concomitant disease and mucosal involvement;20 patients(3.88%)had a clear family history, and those with family history were more serious and more likely to involve hair.there was no statistical significance in the area, location, classification, age of onset, concomitant disease and mucosal involvement.4 The positive rates of TG-b,TPO-b and the level of TSH in patients with vitiligo were higher than those in healthy controls, while the levels of T3,T4,FT3 and FT4 in patients with vitiligo were significantly lower than those in healthy controls;the positive rates of TG-b and TPO-b in vitiligo patients aged 21-40 and 41-60 were significantly higher than those in the control group, while the positive rates of TG-b,TPO-B and TSH in female patients were higher than those in male patients, while the levels of T3,T4,FT3 and FT4 in female patients were lower than those in male patients;the positive rate of thyroid antibody and the level of thyroid hormone were not related to the stage, classification and severity of vitiligo.Conclusion:1 Non-segmental types vitiligo is common, the face and neck is the most easily involved, the proportion of male and female patients is similar, male onset is earlier, female patients are more likely to be complicated with other diseases, there is no significant difference in stage, classification and lesion area between male and female patients with vitiligo.2There were significant differences in the age of onset of vitiligo among different nation groups.the proportion of segmental and localized vitiligo in children was higher than that in adults, but there was no significant difference in gender composition, stage, location of skin lesions, area of skin lesions, hair involvement and family history.3 Patients with family history were more likely to involve hair, and there was no significant difference in lesion area, location, classification, age of onset, concomitant disease and mucosal involvement.4 The positive rate of thyroid antibody and the level of thyroid hormone in patients with vitiligo were higher than those in the control group. The positive rate of thyroid antibody in female patients was higher than that in male patients. There is no correlation between thyroid function and stage, classification and severity of vitiligo.
