ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of cyst Percutaneous aspiration in the treatment of different types symptomatic sacral canal cyst, and to provide a valuable reference for further improving the clinical efficacy of interventional treatment of sacral cyst by analyzing the factors that influence the prognosis.MethodsA retrospective study was conducted on 135 patients who suffered from thesacral canal cysts in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2016.They were all diagnosed with sacral cyst by CT and MRI,Their symptoms and Characteristics were considered to be associated with sacral cyst. Therefore,to puncture and aspirate sacral canal cyst by the guidance of DSA,reducing the pressure in the capsule and relieving patient,s symptoms,Localizating and puncturing into the sacral canal cyst, then 2-5ml cerebrospinal fluid was suctioned and sent to laboratory for test. And then a small amount of nonionic contrast agent was injected into the cyst, judging whether there was contrast agent into the subarachnoid space,If the result was positive,This case was included in the A group, while the contray was included in the B group,Finally, double needles were used to aspirate cyst fluid. The patients were followed up for 6 months evaluated by ODI score and effective rate The affecting factors on which the therapeutic effect were analyzed.ResultsDSA angiography showed that 68 cases in 135 cases of patients were group A and contrast agent up into the subarachnoid space by traffic hole,It means these cysts were communicated with the subarachnoid space;67 cases were group B and contrast agent only existing within the cyst,It means these cysts were not communicated with the subarachnoid space.Cerebrospinal fluid comparison:The difference of sugar and chloride between two groups in incipient patients was statistically significant. The difference of sugar, protein and chloride between two groups in recurrent patients was statistically significant. The excellent and good rate of group A was about 69.70%,and the excellent and good rate of group B was about 72.73%.There was significant difference between the two groups at 6 months after operation compared with the preoperative ODI score. There was no significant difference in ODI score between the two groups.Analysis of influencing factors of sacral cysts after operation showed the difference between the efficient rate of sacral cyst and the number of cysts?multiple changes of cerebrospinal fluid were statistically significant. There was no statistically significant difference of sacral cyst betw-een the sex?recurrece and cyst type.ConclusionsSacral canal cysts were divided into two types: subarachnoid interlinked and outlinked type.Simple cyst aspiration is a safe and effective treatment for different types symptomatic sacral canal cyst.Compared between the incipient and recurrent patients, the content of the cerebrospinal fluid were changed. The number of cysts and multiple changes of cerebrospinal fluid were correlated with the prognosis of the patients with interventional therapy. And the sex? recurrence or type of cysts were not related.
