Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of surgical treatment for granulomatous mastitis,a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis were used to compare the efficacy of surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment for granulomatous mastitis. The differences of complete remission rate(CR),recurrence rate(RR),healing time and breast shape satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Methods:The following important databases are searched by computer:PubMed,The Conchrane Library,Embase,CBM,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP.Articles on the treatment of granulomatous mastitis, including surgical treatment, were retrieved from January 01,2010 to November 30,2018.The articles retrieved were independently screened by two researchers according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. When disputes arise in the inclusion or exclusion of articles, the two parties shall discuss and decide,or invite a third party to decide.Data were analyzed by RevMan 5.3 software(Meta-analysis).Results:Nine studies were included, including 4 articles published in English and 5 articles published in Chinese.A total of 765 patients with GM were included.Meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences in complete remission rate, recurrence rate, healing time and breast shape satisfaction between operation group and non-operation group(P<0.05).Conclusion(s):1.Through Systematic Review and Meta-analysis,the curative effect of surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment for GM was systematically compared, which provided reference information for clinical treatment of GM.2.Surgical treatment of GM can improve the complete remission rate(CR),reduce the recurrence rate(RR)and shorten the treatment time, but it is worse than non-surgical treatment in breast shape satisfaction. In clinic,it is necessary to choose the appropriate treatment mode according to the actual situation of patients.
