Objective(s):Attention as an important part of cognition is an important factor affecting children's learning, life, social and motor development. The study found that children with cerebral palsy have specific executive power and attention deficits, and attention has been associated with motor function in children. However, most of the previous studies only reported that children with cerebral palsy had different attentions compared with normal children of the same age. They did not pay much attention to the attention of each sub-component.It is still unclear how much the sub-components are related to motor function. Therefore, this study selected attention network test system to study the network efficiency of children with cerebral palsy of 4-6 years old and its correlation with gross motor function. In order to understand the characteristics of attention network in children with spastic cerebral palsy and its influence on motor function, and to provide theoretical basis for the influence of attention on motor control and motor training. Methods:The study selected 51 children diagnosed as spastic cerebral palsy in the Yunnan Disabled Rehabilitation Center as the study group, with an average age of(5.40±0.63)years;48 normal children enrolled in kindergartens in the Economic Development Zone of Kunming as a control group, the mean age was(5.38±0.66)years old.The attention network test system was used to study the network characteristics of children with cerebral palsy of 4-6 years old.At the same time will pay attention to network test results with spastic type hemiplegia of 32 cases of cerebral palsy gross motor function B(seat),C(climb and kneel),D(stand)and E(walking, running and jumping)four functional areas for correlation research.Results:(1)Comparison of mean network response time:compared with the control group, there was a statistical difference between the two groups in the mean network response time of Orienting network and Executive network(P<0.05),and the Orienting network response time and Executive network in the control group were superior to that in the cerebral palsy group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the mean response time of Alerting network(P>0.05).(2)Pay attention to the comparison of network accuracy, error rate, omission rate and total time spent:compared with the control group, cerebral palsy group has statistical differences in accuracy, error rate and omission rate(P<0.05).The accuracy rate of the control group was higher than that of the cerebral palsy group, and the error rate and omission rate of the cerebral palsy group were significantly higher than that of the control group. In terms of total time spent, there were also significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05),and the total time spent in the control group was slightly higher than that in the cerebral palsy group.(3)Gender difference in attention network efficiency in cerebral palsy group:there was no significant difference in alertness network, orienting network and executive network between male and female cerebral palsy group(P>0.05)(4)Pay attention to the gender difference of network efficiency in the control group:there was no significant difference between the boys and girls in the orienting network and the execution network in the control group(P>0.05);In the alertness network, girls' alertness network was better than boys'(P<0.05).(5)Spastic children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy attention network research:the correlation between gross motor function and cerebral palsy children with spastic type B(seat),C(climb and kneel),D(stand)and E(walking, running and jumping)four functional areas and pay attention to the network's overall accuracy, error, omission rate correlation, correlation is roughly moderate correlation(r=-0.47?0.44).Although the correlations between "E and accuracy","E and error rate" and "D and error rate" are not statistically significant, they are all close to significant values r=0.35(P=0.05);r=-0.3(P=0.1);r=-0.34(P=0.05).(6)Study on the correlation among the sub-components of attention network:in the cerebral palsy group,no pairwise correlation was found among the three sub-components of attention network(P>0.05);In the control group, there was no significant correlation between the three sub-components of the network except that the execution network and the orienting network had a positive correlation(P<0.05,r=0.33).Conclusion(s):The attention network efficiency of children with spastic cerebral palsy is generally lower than the peers. Moreover, there was a positive correlation between attention network efficiency and gross motor function. It is suggested that attention of children should be taken as a focus in clinical rehabilitation treatment, which should be included in the rehabilitation treatment plan for children,so as to optimize the treatment scheme and improve the treatment effect.
