The number of people suffering from depression increased by as much as 18% pointed out by World Health Organization from 2005 to 2015.At present, there are more than 300 million people around the world suffering from depression.Furthermore, the World Health Organization has also organized to publish paper entitled Global Loss Brought by Disease,in which the organization predicts that depression will be one of the most serious diseases in the world by 2020.The media,as the main channel for public to get health information,is very important to the discourse construction characteristics of depression issues. Therefore,it carries on the research in this paper from two perspectives, such as the perspective of audience and the perspective of media.By starting from the perspective of audience,it respectively investigates the basic cognitive level, attitude, subjective norm pressure and behavioral intention of people with depression by using the 5 component scale of Richter matrix and the combination of the influential planning behavior theory of social psychology. At the same time,it collects the contact frequency and trust degree of different source channels. As a result,it is found that the audience's understanding of depression and depression patients is low on average, who also has a serious bias attitude and negative behavior intention to depression patients. In addition, more than half of the respondents had no desire for professional treatment due to group pressure in terms of attitude and intention to seek medical treatment. It is also found that the academic background, medical history, cognitive level, attitude, subjective norm pressure, and the frequency of contact with related sources of the investigated people all have a significant direct or indirect impact on behavioral intention when making the analysis of multi-factor data, the exploration of the influence degree of different population, different frequency of contact and different degree of trust on the final behavior intention. On the basis of the analysis of the above-mentioned data,TPB theory and relevant literature of scholars,it tries to put forward "the basic model of promoting rational behavior of the masses to depression" in this paper.By starting from the perspective of media,it takes web page version of Tencent news from 2015 to 2018 as the research object, which uses web page data to capture software and other means to collect and analyze the content. At the same time,it carries on the analytical category construction of all articles on the basis of the four functions, such as media meaning interpretation, attribution reasoning, moral evaluation and treatment mode.As a result,it is found that its reporting objects in meaning interpretation on the news website as the top 10 news websites of Alexa statistics are mainly social eminent persons,in which the power of explaining the causes of depression is the official medical institution. In addition, the majority of depression issue reports focus on "suicide",and the use of preventive measures and solutions is of low value.Since 2015,the total number of reports on depression issues has been on the rise. However, there is little change in the proportion of discourse orientation mentioned above. Finally,it puts forward several strategies and suggestions on the aspects of stigmatization intervention, empathy construction, mass medical treatment, refinement of health communication and other new media to guide the public on the basis of the above conclusions in this paper, which tries to alleviate the public's low awareness and deep-rooted prejudice of similar psychological diseases. Thus,it is hoped to improve some problems in health communication, such as over-emphasizing of some information, inadvertent cover of one party's discourse, exclusion of solutions and so on through further discussion.
