Objective:Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers of the digestive system. With the continuous progress of our society and changes in people's eating habits and quality, the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer are increasing every year.In this study, the Dietary Inflammatory Index(DII)was used to evaluate the diet of colorectal cancer patients and non-colorectal cancer people,to explore the relationship beteween DII and colorectal cancer and to provide theoretical basis for effective prevention of colorectal cancer. Methods: Using retrospective research methods,159 patients with colorectal cancer and 180 non-colorectal cancer patients were selected from a hospital in Shenyang city,Liaoning province from January 2018 to October 2018.After informed consent and signature, collect the demographic information, health history, living habits, eating habits and other information of the interviewees.Using a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire(SQFFQ)to investigate the dietary intake of the interviewees.Using NCCW nutrition software to calculate the energy intake and the content of various nutrients and calculate the total score of dietary inflammatory index.Using EpiData 3.0 software to input the questionnaire and SPSS22.0 was used for analysis. Results: The study found that factors such as marital status, educational level, growth environment,BMI,sleep time, sleep quality, stress, diet regularity and drinking water amount are significantly related to colorectal cancer prevalence in the survey population. There was no significant relationship between dietary inflammatory index and colorectal cancer. In marital status, married people are 0.211 times more likely to have colorectal cancer than unmarried people(OR=0.211,95%CI:0.062-0.725).In educational level, the probability of colorectal cancer is 0.261 times higher for those with high school/technical secondary education(OR=0.261,95%CI: 0.075-0.905),and 0.103 times higher for those with university or higher education(OR=0.103,95%CI:0.022-0.471).In growth environment, the probability of colorectal cancer in urban population is 4.011 times higher than that in rural population(OR=4.011,95%CI:1.780-9.037).In BMI,the probability of colorectal cancer in people with BMI ?28.0 is 0.215 times that in people with BMI ?22.9(OR=0.215,95%CI: 0.073-0.633).In sleep time, the probability of colorectal cancer in people with sleep time ?6h/d is 4.703 times higher than that in people with sleep time > 6h/d(OR=4.703,95%CI:2.400-9.217).In sleep quality, the probability of colorectal cancer for people with average sleep quality is 0.215 times higher than that for people with good sleep quality(OR=0.215,95%CI:0.100-0.462)and the probability of colorectal cancer in patients with poor sleep quality is 0.292 times higher than that in patients with good sleep quality(OR=0.292,95%CI:0.102-0.828).In pressure, the probability of colorectal cancer in patients with severe pressure is 3.897 times higher than that in patients with mild pressure(OR=3.897,95%CI:2.030-7.482).In the diet regularity, the probability of colorectal cancer for people with irregular diet is 4.117 times higher than that for people with regular diet(OR=4.117,95%CI:1.825-9.291).In drinking water volume, the probability of colorectal cancer is 0.300 times(OR=0.300,95%CI:0.106-0.844)for drinking water volume 1001-2000 ml,and 0.052 times(OR=0.052,95%CI: 0.013-0.204)for drinking water volume ?2001ml.Conclusion: Whether the dietary inflammatory index is related to colorectal cancer needs further verification.Colorectal cancer is a disease affected by multiple factors.Colorectal cancer is a disease affected by multiple factors, and these related factors should be controlled at the same time.
