The organizational culture is defined as the complex of values and standards that employees and groups accepted and are adhering to it as a whole,as well as is coordinating relationships between them and between shareholders.Every organization has its own culture and it is the most important to have measurement for the culture and to implement it in reality.By establishing own culture well,the organization will acquire competitive advantages and it is the base of staying longer with success for the organization.In order for an organization to reach its goals and targets,they need to spend resources as efficiently as it is possible and to implement optimal governing methods,hence,the organization faces new challenges in its every step and strives to the success.The innovative aspect of this research work is that it studied the organizational culture of a health organization with the Denison model which was developed by Professor Daniel R.Denison and William S.Neil,The University of Michigan Business School,conducting researches on the organizational culture at more than 5000 companies for 25 years and processing the result.For private hospitals,they always have to make changes and to walk with the development coping with strong competitions on the market.Total of 3244 health organizations are functioning nationwide and 13 state health organizations,5 clinical and specialized hospitals,34 provincial and district hospitals,39 inter-soum hospitals,237 soum hospitals,220 family group practices and 1310 private health organizations are functioning and providing health care services(National Statistical Office,2018).All of these hospitals have their own cultures and this culture makes them different from each other.It is important that the culture is fixed and has positive environment among employees,and this impacts on employees’ retention and furthermore,helps to improve their service quality as well as customers’ satisfaction for hospitals.Hospitals are the service organization that provide health care services to people.For our country,it is quite new thing to conduct research on organizational culture of health organization,therefore,I have chosen this subject,through the interviews and questionnaires,the organizational culture of Mongolian “MEDICAL” Co.,Ltd.was studied.The research conclusions show that different departments or different organizational units have different organizational cultures.This confirms the hypothesis of this study.Therefore,companies should focus on cultivating lack of skills,spend time coordinating training,and focus on the development of employee skills. |
