Objective: To evaluate the correlation between MRI imaging classification of rotator cuff injury and shoulder special clinical examination and shoulder function score. Methods: In August 2016 to November 2016 were retrospectively analyzed in the sixth people's hospital of Shanghai rehabilitation medicine and sports medicine ward of the clinical diagnosis of rotator cuff injury who did not do any surgical treatment of 100 patients(53 male and 47 female cases). All patients were accepted in clinical time 1 month unified MRI.According to the results of the MRI imaging examination grading divided the patients into 3 groups, corresponding MRI images level 1 to 3.All of the patients had a unified shoulder joint physical examination including the Drop arm test, the Internal Rotation Resistence Strength test, the External Rotation Resistence Strength test, the Patte test, the Jobe test,Hawkins test and Neer test,Grinding test,Yergason examination, modified Yergason examination the Speed test.Chi-square test was carried out on the test results and MRI classification to evaluate the correlation of both. All patients complete unified UCLA grading system,Constant and Murley score, the SPADI score and the SST rating score. The spearman rank were carried out for the correlation of both. The statistical analysis are come out by SPSS 20.0 software package.Results:1.In these tests, the positive rate of the Jobe test and the Drop arm test,Neer test, the Resisted nternal Rotation, the Resisted External Rotation, the Patte test have statistically significant correlation with MRI classification of patients;the positive rate of Yergason test, modified Yergason test, the Speed test, grinding test,Hawkins test and MRI classification of patients have no statistically significant correlation.2.In all function scores, the functions of UCLA grading scores,CMS function grading scores and SST rating scores have statistical correlation with MRI classification, correlation coefficients are-0.430,-0.710and-0.603;SPADI rating scores and MRI classification has no statistical correlation. Conclusion:In the physical examination, the Jobe test and the Drop arm test,Neer test, the Resisted Internal Rotation, the Resisted External Rotation, the Patte test results and MRI classification have statistically significant correlation. In functional score, the UCLA score,CMS score and SST function score were negatively related to MRI degrees, higher the grade of MRI is,lower the UCLA score,CMS function score and SST score are,the shoulder joint function limitation is more serious.
