Therapeutic Effects Of Intra-articular Glenohumeral Injections Of Hyaluronic Acid For Glenohumeral Osteoarthritis:a Systematic Review

Objective: Conservative treatments are very important for the treatment of osteoarthritis.Numerous experimental and clinical studies in osteoarthritis have demonstrated the positive role of hyaluronic acid.The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of hyaluronic acid.Methods: Search the following databases: Pubmed/Medline?Embase?WANFANG DATA.Collect the literature regarding the therapeutic effects of Intra-articular glenohumeral injections of hyaluronic acid for glenohumeral osteoarthritis.Use RevMan5.2 to analyze the data.Results: Eight literature were included.The results showed that the shoulder function improved after the treatment.The difference is statistically significant.The meta-analyses show the result:-2.19,95% CI[-2.57,-1.82]Conclusions: Intra-articular glenohumeral injections of hyaluronic acid for glenohumeral osteoarthritis is a safe and effective conservative treatments.But still need more of the scientific and high-quality RCT to demonstrated.The long-term curative effect and therapeutic doses are still unsure.
