Objective Osteoarthritis of knee is a commonly encountered and frequently-occuringdisease that make much trubbles on the people's life ,mostly of the eldly, and badlydisturb the fertility of socialty. It's incidence rate raises up rapidly as population aging. Therefore, there is an imminence demand to cure osteoatrthritis efficiently. Thisexperiment observe the variety of cytokine (IL-1, IL-6, TNF- α )content in synovia of thepatients with osteoarthritis before and after hyaluronicacid viscosupplementation, and thetherapeutic effect of hyaluronicacid viscosupplementation. Explore the pathogeny ofosteoarthritis on molecular level and provide theoretically and experimental foundationfor treatment of osteoarthritis. Methods Cytokine contents in synovia of osteoatrthritis patients were respectivelydetected by ELISA before and after hyaluronicacid viscosupplementation. The therapeuticevaluation be made at the same time. Then make statistical analysis. Results The therapeutic evaluation of osteoatrthritis treated by hyaluronic acidviscosupplementation was 96% , and cytokine contents dropped significantly in synovialfluid. Conclusion Hyaluronic acid viscosupplementation can reduce cytokine contents insynovia, and inhibit immunologic injury, so the therapy is positive. The variation incytokine contents in synovia with hyaluronic acid viscosupplementation can be seen asan index for therapeutic evaluation.
