Objective Minimally invasive rotary excision system is effective in the treatment of single breast benign tumors, but there is still controversy in the treatment of multiple unilateral breast benign tumors, especially multi-quadrant benign tumors;Because of the late development of this technology in Ningxia, there is no relevant research. The current situation of minimally invasive spiral excision and traditional operation in the treatment of multiple benign breast tumors in Ningxia was compared and analyzed to fill the vacancy in the research of minimally invasive surgery in Ningxia, and provide the basis for further popularizing the application of this technology in this region.Materials and methods We collected 260 patients with multiple benign breast tumors who underwent surgery in the Oncology Surgery Department of General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were selected as the study subjects, and collected the data of operation and follow-up of them. The experimental group was treated with Minimally Invasive Rotary cutting Breast Surgery, the control group was treated with traditional open surgery.Statistical analysis and application of SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Pathological(Physical and auxiliary examinations, pathological reports, and surgical conditions of patients)and follow-up data were consulted to compare the patient age, operation time, the number of incisions, the amount of bleeding, the size of resected tumors, the resection rate(residual tumors),the post-operative ecchymosis, the post-operative hematoma, the post-operative infection and the healing time with these two different surgical methods, the choice of surgical incision formulti-quadrant tumors, efficacy of single incision surgery and so on to analyze the treatment effect and feasibility in Ningxia. Results The age composition of the Minimally invasive surgery group was mainly less than 45 years old(96%)and younger than that of the traditional surgery group(77%).There was a significant difference in the age composition between the two groups(p=0.000).Operation time(20.50±0.56)min?amount of bleeding(16.17±0.88)ml?healing time(5.71±0.126)d?Excision rate of lesions(0.95±0.01)and Ratio of incision to number of tumors(0.44 ± 0.00)of Minimally invasive surgery group Obviously better than the traditional surgery group including Operation time(36.30±0.78)min?amount of bleeding(25.70±1.19)ml ?healing time(8.35±0.20)d?Excision rate of lesions(0.63±0.02)and ratio of incision to number of tumors(0.55 ± 0.02)the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rate of Postoperative ecchymosis(8.8%)?Postoperative infection rate(0%)?rate of postoperative scar(4.8%)of Minimally invasive surgery group obviously lower than the incidence rate of postoperative ecchymosis(17.8%)?postoperative infection rate(11.8%)?rate of postoperative scar(33.3%)of traditional surgery group. There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05);However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of hematoma between the Minimally invasive surgery group(1.6%)and the traditional surgery group(1.5%)(P>0.05);The operation cost of minimally invasive rotary mammotomy group(5216.75±8.30)was significantly higher than that of traditional open mammotomy group(2133.12±42.36),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(p=0.000).Conclusion Using B-mode ultrasound-guided minimally invasive mammotomy for multiple benign breast tumors can improve the effect of surgical and reduce the incidence ofPostoperative complications; It is beneficial to the maintenance of breast shape; There was no significant difference in the incidence of hematoma between the two methods, but it did not affect the overall effect of minimally invasive rotary resection. It's Accorded with the implementation concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery,The cost of minimally invasive mammotomy is high, however, because of its superiority over traditional surgery,it has been recognized by patients with multiple breast benign tumors, especially young patients, and is suitable for clinical application in Ningxia.
