OBJECTIVE: Through the analysis and research of TCM syndrome elements in perimenopausal women with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, the distribution regularity of TCM syndrome elements can be obtained. The regularity can provide new ideas for the standardization and objectivity of TCM syndromes differentiation of the disease, and also provide certain theoretical basis for the clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of the disease.METHOD: By collecting the information of four diagnostic methods of 122 perimenopausal women with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and analyzing the characteristics of TCM syndrome elements, the distribution of TCM syndrome elements of the disease was obtained.RESULT: The results are as follows: 1.Distribution of the disease location factors of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in perimenopausal women: The frequency of disease location factors is in turn: Meridians(100%),liver(86.89%),bones and muscles(67.21%),kidney(63.11%),spleen(41.80%)and uterus(40.16%).Taking 100 as the threshold value, the integral of spleen and uterus was less than 100.There was no statistical difference between them(P > 0.05).The integral of collaterals, liver, muscles and bones and kidneys was more than 100.There were significant statistical differences between the four diseases location and spleen and uterus(P < 0.01).The frequency and integral of meridians(125.43±18.96)were the highest, followed by liver(117.75±22.18),tendons and bones(118.02±17.57),kidney(108.30±18.41).The results showed that meridians, liver, bones, muscles and kidneys were the main sites of the disease, followed by spleen(86.62±12.91)and uterus(86.04±14.99).2.According to the results of the study,it shows the number of single-site patients(14 cases),double-site(28 cases),three-site(36 cases),four-site(27 cases),five-site and above(17 cases). So,with the increase of age,the number and the proportion of multiple-site patients are in increase.3.Distribution of pathogenic factors of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in perimenopausal women: The frequency of pathogenic factors involved in this disease: excess syndrome: wind(68.03%),cold(75.41%),dampness(68.85%),phlegm(23.77%),heat(19.67%),qi stagnation(63.11%),blood stasis(33.61%);deficiency syndrome: Qi deficiency(62.30%),blood deficiency(40.16%),Yin deficiency(41.80%)Yang deficiency(34.43%).Taking 100 as the threshold value, the integral of heat,Qi deficiency, blood deficiency and Yang deficiency was less than 100.Comparing with each other, there were no statistical differences in them(P > 0.05).The integral of wind, cold, dampness, phlegm,Qi stagnation, blood stasis and Yin deficiency was more than 100.There were significant statistical differences between wind, cold, dampness and Qi stagnation and heat,Qi deficiency, blood deficiency and Yang deficiency(P < 0.01).By comparing phlegm with Qi deficiency(P < 0.01),and comparing Yin deficiency with heat and Qi deficiency(P < 0.01),there were significant statistical differences in them.By comparing phlegm with heat and blood deficiency(P < 0.05),and comparing Yin deficiency with blood deficiency(P < 0.05),there were statistical differences in them. The frequency and integral of cold(120.38±23.11)were the highest, followed by wind(116.86±24.90),dampness(113.42±21.28),phlegm(101.54±14.47),qi stagnation(112.64±24.54)and yin deficiency(107.93±25.83).The results showed that wind, cold, dampness, phlegm,qi stagnation and yin deficiency were the main pathogenic factors in this disease, followed by heat(97.08±18.23),blood stasis (104.03±25.30),Qi deficiency(95.04±17.93),blood deficiency(98.45±22.65),Yang deficiency(98.83±23.92).4.According to the statistics, there were 18 cases of excess syndrome,6 cases of deficiency syndrome and 98 cases of excess and deficiency syndrome. It showed that the disease dominated by excess and deficiency syndrome. With the increase of age,the proportion of excess syndrome decreases, while the proportion of deficiency syndrome increases.CONCLUSION: 1.The main disease location factors of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in perimenopausal women are meridians, liver, bones, muscles and kidneys.2.The number of the disease location factors is closely related to age, which increases with age.3.The main pathogenic factors are wind, cold, dampness, phlegm,Qi stagnation,Yin deficiency.4.Although the integral of Qi deficiency is not high, its frequency is large. The effect of it can not be ignored.5.The disease is mainly characterized by deficiency and excess syndrome. With the increase of age,the proportion of excess syndrome decreases, while the proportion of deficiency syndrome increases.6.For perimenopausal women, attention should be paid to dredging meridians, emotional regulation, tonifying liver and kidney, keeping warm on the neck, etc,to prevent the occurrence of this disease.
