Clinical Study Of Qingguxiaoci Particles In Treating The Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

objective.To observe the clinical therapeutical effect of Qingguxiaoci Particles onpatient with the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).To evaluate and analyzefunctional mechanism of alleviating the clinical symptoms Of CSR.Method.According to the standard,79 patients with CSR,aging from 30 to 60,weredivided into treatment group and control group at random.The patients 46 cases in thetreatment group took Qingguxiaoci Particles at a dose of 15 g bid for 21 days.Those 33 cases in the control group took Jingfukang Keli at a dose of 5g bid for 21 days.Theclinical therapeutical effect Of the patients belonged to m ITT analysis was evaluated atthe time spot respectively before the therapy,after 7 days,after 14 days and after 21`days.The index of the effect contains VAS scored system,JOA scored system,gripstrength and evaluation for therapeutical effect of TCM.Observe and record the adverse experiences(AEs)to evaluate the safety of the medication. Results. After 21 curing days,we found that there was obvious statistical difference between two groups in VAS scored system(P<0.05),which proved that theeffect of the treatment group was better than the contr01 one.After 7 curing days,there was obvious statistical difference between them in JOA scored system(P<0.05),which proved that the treatment group was better than the contr01 one.But after 1 4and 21 curing days,there was no statistical dilyefence between them,which provedthat the effect of two groups was the same.The whole curing time between twogroups was no statistical defference(P>0.05),which also has no clinical effectiveness.There was no statistical deffrence between two groups efficacy rate and cure rate assessed with syndromes of TCM(P>0.05),which proved two groups were same in these aspects.There were only 2 AEs(4.3%)folund in the treatment group a bit more than the control group(0%).Conclusion.Qingguxiaoci Particles taken by a dose of bid has a effective therapeutic value for CSR.The clinical therapeutic effect same as Jingfukang Keli taken by a dose bid.The former is better than the latter in alleviating neck pain and the clinical symptoms of CSR.but is same in improving grip strength in short term,which shows no obvious effectiveness.
