Clinical Observation Of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction In Patients With Frozen Shoulder After Arthroscopic Release

Objective: To observe the effect of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction on the clinical efficacy after arthroscopic capsular release,so as to provide some reference for the combined use of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction after frozen shoulder surgery.Methods: From December 2017 to December 2018,66 frozen shoulder patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and divided into experimental group and control group according to random number table method.Both groups underwent arthroscopic capsular release.The control group took celecoxib 200 mg once a day for 3 days on the first day after operation.On the basis of the control group,the experimental group was given oral Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction granules on the first day after surgery,once in the morning and once in the evening for 14 days.The control group and the experimental group were given routine functional exercises after operation.From the 4th day after operation,the patients in both groups could take celecoxib if the pain was intolerable.The shoulder motion,VAS pain score,Celecoxib dosage and Constant shoulder function score before operation,a week after operation,a month after operation and three months after operation were counted,and the curative effect was evaluated.Results: There was no significant difference in age and sex between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS,the range of shoulder motion and Constant shoulder score between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the VAS pain score of the experimental group 1 week and 1 month after surgery was better,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS pain scores between the two groups of 3 months after surgery(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the number of times of taking celecoxib at each time point after operation in the experimental group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group was superior to the control group in Constant scores at 1 week,1 month and 3 months after surgery,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The improvement of the range of motion of the shoulder in the experimental group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after operation,the curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Early administration of Huangqi Guizhi Quwu Decoction after arthroscopic shoulder capsule release can effectively relieve the pain of patients with frozen shoulder and promote the recovery of shoulder joint function.
