Clinical Study On Treatment Of Menstrual Migraine With Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan Combined With Body Acupuncture Based On The Theory Of "Treating Disease In The Upper Part By Managing The Lower"

ObjectiveThe purpose of this project is to investigate the clinical and clinical study of menstrual migraine by Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan,and to observe the clinical efficacy of Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan in the treatment of menstrual migraine.The clinical significance of migraine treatment provides a scientific basis for acupuncture treatment and efficacy evaluation of menstrual migraine,improving efficacy and safety,and shortening the course of treatment.MethodsAccording to the clinical inclusion criteria,90 patients with menstrual migraine were randomly divided into three groups according to the time of treatment,namely acupuncture group,drug group and acupuncture combined with drug group,30 cases in each group.2 cases were rejected or dropped out,the finel cases brought into the investigation of each group were 29,29,30.The acupuncture group was treated with Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan with body acupuncture,the drug group was given oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsule(Sibiling),and the acupuncture combined with drug group was treated with acupuncture combined with body acupuncture and given oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsule(Sibiling).Each group was treated for 3 courses(3menstrual cycles).We observed the changes of their of the pain intensity and pain index,headache total score,specific quality of life questionnaire quality of life questionnaire(MSQ),plasma calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)and serotonin(5-HT)content,and also evaluated the efficacy.Results1.The age,duration of disease,pain intensity and pain index before treatment were compared between the three groups.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the pain intensity and pain index of the three groups were lower than those before treatment,but the acupuncture group and the acupuncturecombined with drug group decreased most obviously as compared with drug group,the differences was statically significant(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the total scores of headache in the three groups were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The acupuncture group and the acupuncture combined with drug group decreased most obviously as compared with drug group,the difference was statically significant(P<0.05).4.After treatment,the MSQ functional limitation dimension,dysfunction dimension and emotional dimension of the three groups were lower than those before treatment.The acupuncture group and the acupuncture combined with drug group decreased most obviously as compared with drug group,the difference was statically significant(P<0.05).5.After treatment,the CGRP content of acupuncture group and the acupuncture combined with drug group were significantly lower than that of drug group,and5-HT content was significantly higher than than that of drug group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The total effective rate of the acupuncture group was 89.66%,the total effective rate of the drug group was 65.52%,and the total effective rate of the acupuncture combined with drug group was 90%.After statistical analysis,the total effective rate of acupuncture group,acupuncture combined with drug group was significantly higher than that of drug group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionIt is better to treat menstrual migraine with the use of Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan with body acupuncture,which is better to treat the yin and yang balance of liver and kidney in the viscera than the western medicine.This acupuncture treatment method can quickly achieve the function of nourishing kidney and calming the liver,can effectively reduce the intensity,duration and frequency of attack of menstrual migraine,reduce plasma CGRP level,increase 5-HT content,and reduce the serious adverse effects of the patients' life quality.In addition,Tai Chi Tong Yong Quan isprominent-characteristic,easy to locating the acupoints,safe to operating,and has notable curative effect.It is worthy of clinical promotion.
