Objective: To compare the short-term clinical efficacy of low-energy semiconductor laser and various local drugs in the treatment of light recurrent aphthous ulcer,so as to select an effective scheme for the treatment of light aphthous ulcer. Methods: From September 2016 to September 2018,200 patients diagnosed as RAU in the Department of Stomatology,Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of China Medical University were selected and randomly divided into 5 groups with 40 patients in each group.Control group A was blank control group, group B was irradiated with low-level semiconductor laser once a day for 2 minutes / time, and group C was smeared with triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment for 3 times / day.Group D was smeared with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor for 3 times per day, group E was smeared with lidocaine hydrochloride gel for 3 times per day.The pain relief degree, ulcer healing area, ulcer healing time and curative effect of low-energy laser and three groups of drugs before and after treatment were analyzed. Results: In terms of pain relief, the pain relief rate of group b is higher than that of the other 4 groups immediately after treatment(P<0.05).On the 3rd day of treatment, the pain relief rate of group E is higher than that of groups A,C and D(P<0.05).There is no significant difference between group B and group E(P>0.05).The ulcer area of group A was significantly better than that of the other 4 groups.on the 3rd day after treatment. On the 4th day of treatment, there was no significant difference in ulcer area between group B and group D,but there was statistical difference with the other 3 groups. On the 5th day of treatment, there was no statistical significance between group A and group E,groups B,C and D all had the effect of reducing ulcer area, group B was the best group D followed by group D.In terms of ulcer healing time, group B has the shortest healing time(P>0.05),group C and group D have statistical differences(P<0.05),group C and group D have no statistical differences(P>0.05),group A and group E have no statistical differences(P>0.05).In terms of effective rate, there was no significant difference in total effective rate between group A and E,group B and D,group C and D,group C and E,and group D and E(P>0.05),while there was significant difference in comparison between group B and C(P<0.05).Group B,C and D are all effective for mild recurrent aphthous ulcer.Group B had the best effect, group D followed. Conclusion: Low-level semiconductor laser therapy for minor recurrent aphthous ulcer can obviously relieve pain, shorten ulcer healing time and accelerate ulcer healing area. Its overall therapeutic effect is superior to triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor and lidocaine hydrochloride gel.
