Objective: To evaluate the significance of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in patients with bladder urothelial carcinoma(UC)and the normal population. Methods: A total of 117 patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer and 54 patients with bladder cancer were followed up and the other 100 healthy people was selected as control group.Depending on the level of NLR,use ROC curve to determine the NLR cut-off value to distinguish between NMIBC patients and MIBC patients(3.3).Use the same method to determine the optimal NLR value to predict the recurrence and metastasis after different types of bladder cancer patients(NMIBC2.6,MIBC3.4).The patient's T stage,G grade, tumor volume, tumour size, recurrence time,3-year recurrence-free survival rate and Tumor-free survival time were collected. Conclusion: The NLR value is significant between normal healthy people and the cancer patients. The NLR value is also significant between NMIBC patients and MIBC patients. The difference of preoperative NLR value was significant in the tumor T stage,G grade, size, number of tumors and time of recurrence of NMIBC patients.NLR value was significant in the tumor T stage of MIBC patients.
