Objective:To explore the relationship between preoperative neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio and clinicopathological features and prognosis of colorectal cancer. Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 100 colorectal cancer patients undergoing surgical treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College from December 2011 to December 2012 were retrospectively collected. At the same time, the first affiliated hospital of Bengbu Medical College was selected for the same period of health. There were no data on 100 physical examinations in the physical examination. To analyze whether the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)of patients with colorectal cancer is different from that of physical examination;to analyze the general tumor type, tumor size and differentiation of 100 patients. The relationship between TNM stage, age, gender, and preoperative NLR;based on the ROC curve plotted, the best cut-off point for NLR was 2.215(sensitivity=47%,specificity=90%,area under ROC curve=0.703)These 100 patients can be divided into low NLR group and high NLR group according to the cutoff value. The differences in clinical pathological characteristics and overall survival between the two groups were compared, and the survival curve was drawn;in order to influence the prognosis of colorectal cancer. The independent factors were analyzed for multivariate and single factor COX risk regression analysis of overall survival. Results:Preoperative NLR levels in patients with colorectal cancer were significantly higher than those with no significant abnormalities on physical examination(P=0.00).The preoperative NLR value was significantly different from the general tumor type, tumor size, and TNM stage(P<0.05).In general, the preoperative NLR was higher than non-invasive NLR preoperatively, and the maximum tumor diameter was ?4.5.The preoperative NLR value of the cm group tumor was higher than that of the <4.5 cm group. The higher the TNM stage of the colorectal cancer, the higher the preoperative NLR value. In the general tumor type, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, degree of infiltration,TNM staging, there was a statistically significant difference between the high NLR group and the low NLR group(P<0.05).The average OS of the low NLR group was 68 months, and the average OS of the high NLR group was 58 months, with a statistically significant difference(P=0.002<0.05).COX multivariate analysis showed that NLR?2.215 was an independent risk factor for OS in colorectal cancer patients(HR=1.855,95%CI=1.023~3.365,P=0.042).TNM stage IV is an independent risk of OS in colorectal cancer patients.Factors(HR=3.936,95%CI=1.863~8.313,P=0.000).Conclusion:Preoperative NLR is closely associated with the clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.High NLR is an independent risk factor for the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.
