Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation between the neutrophil / lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet / lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and the clinicopathological parameters of patients with NMIBC,the predictive value of NLR and PLR in predicting the prognosis of patients with NMIBC was obtained. Methods: We collected data of 238 patients with non muscle invasive bladder tumor who were enrolled in the urology department of Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University and received TURBT between October 1,2014 to January 1,2017.We used the working characteristic curve of subjects to obtain the best critical value of NLR and PLR,and analyzed the correlation between NLR and PLR and clinical case data.T test and chi-square test were used to analyze the difference of clinical data.Kaplan Meier method was used to process the survival curve, and log rank test was used to compare the survival rate between the two groups. The clinical data of patients were analyzed by single factor analysis and multi factor analysis. Finally, the clinical value of NLR and PLR in predicting the prognosis of patients with NMIBC was obtained. Results:The difference between the high NLR group and the low NLR group was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in TNM stage, tumor pathological grade, tumor recurrence, smoking and age between high PLR group and low PLR group(P < 0.05).The mean RFS of patients with NMIBC in high NLR and PLR groups(44.8 and 43.5 months)was shorter than that in low NLR and PLR groups(56.3 and 54.8 months).NLR,PLR,tumor TMN stage and tumor pathological grade are risk factors for poor prognosis of patients with NMIBC.NLR and PLR were independent risk factors for the prognosis of patients with NMIBC(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The RFS of patients with high NLR and PLR was shorter than that of patients with low NLR and PLR.The higher the values of NLR and PLR in preoperative blood routine of patients with NMIBC and the prognosis of patients is relatively poor. Therefore,NLR and PLR are independent prognostic factors, which can be used as inflammatory indicators to judge the prognosis of patients with NMIBC.
