Purpose: To provide reference for clinical treatment by investigating the skin healing of patients with maxillofacial soft tissue surgery and ? incision in different ages.Method: According to the size of incision,157 patients with oral and maxillofacial surgery in Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University were divided into three groups: group A,group B and group C.All the patients collected from January 2014 to October 2018.The results of skin healing within 14 days after operation in patients of different ages in each group was recorded,and analyzed by ?2 test.Results:Grade C Healing rate in different Age groups: Among the 49 patients of group A,3.23 percent in the young group,there was no grade C healing in middle age group and elderly group.Among the 83 patients of group B,2.25 percent in the young group,7.69 percent in the middle age group and 11.76 percent in the elderly group.Among the 25 patients of group C,there was no grade C healing in the young group,7.69 percent in the middle age group and 33.33 percent in the old group.Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the incidence of Grade C Healing between the elderly group and the other age groups.Conclusion: For the elderly patients who have no systemic disease accepted maxillofacial soft tissue surgery,the surgical incision is ? and the skin is involved,intervention is not required for the time being to promote wound healing.
