Objective: To investigate the correlation between the scapula positions and shoulder impingement syndrome(SIS)in patients, and analyze pathogenesis and treatment and recovery of the disease. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and the anteroposterior DR imaging data of 50 cases diagnosed SIS,and 50 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group.Resting positions of the scapula in wall of the chest were assessed. Results: Compared with control group in the positive DR views of the shoulder joint, the positions of the scapula in the SIS group were abnormal, and most in abduction, anterior rotation and anteflexion, and a few of adduction and posterior rotation. Conclusion: The correlation of the displacement of the scapula and SIS might be helpful for the clinical screening and diagnosis of SIS in the anteroposterior DR image.
