Objective: To investigate the imaging findings and related risk factors of cerebrovascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,in order to facilitate early prevention and treatment. Methods: Retrospective collection of 425 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus patients admitted in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University during the period of January2015 to March 2018,according to brain CT or magnetic resonance imaging,69 patients with cerebral infarction,42 patients with cerebral hemorrhage,213 patients with lacunar infarction, and 101 patients with normal brain type 2 diabetes were collected as control group.Record the patient's general clinical indicators as well as fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triglyceride, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels.Logistic regression analysis was used to compare and analyze the correlation between each index and cerebrovascular disease. Results: Univariate analysis showed that the blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, and triglyceride in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with cerebrovascular disease were significantly different from those in the normal group(P<0.05).Among the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the duration of diabetes, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol between the two groups(P>0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, fasting blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were independent risk factors for cerebrovascular disease type 2 diabetes mellitus patients(P<0.05).Female were protective factors for cerebral infarction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(P<0.05).High triglycerides were independent risk factors for lacunar infarction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(P<0.05).Conclusion: Blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triglycerides are independent risk factors for cerebrovascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.According to the influence of various risk factors on differenttypes of cerebrovascular diseases, the clinical preventive measures should be guided to reduce the occurrence of complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
