Objective: To evaluate the status quo of self-efficacy and self-management in patients with enterostomy; To formulate and discuss intervention measures to improve self-efficacy of patients with intestinal ostomy; To evaluate the effect of self-efficacy intervention program on self-efficacy and self-management behavior in patients with intestinal ostomy. Methods: Based on the theory of self-efficacy,on the basis of literature review and definition of self-management behavior, combined with the clinical characteristics of enterostomy patients, the intervention program was put forward.Through expert revision, the intervention program of self-efficacy on self-management behavior of enterostomy was finally determined.Sixty patients with permanent enterostomy who had undergone gastrointestinal cancer surgery and anorectal surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University were selected. The intervention group and the control group had 30 cases each. The researchers intervened in the intervention group under the guidance of self-efficacy theory. The intervention group was increased by issuing enterostomy nursing manuals and stoma diaries to the intervention group and sending basic knowledge of stoma to the Weixin group. The direct experience of patients, through the organization of Wechat exchanges to increase the patient's alternative experience, through "one-to-one" Wechat conversation or face-to-face conversation to persuade patients, through the "heart-to-heart" link of Wechat group to improve the psychological and emotional state of patients, the control group adopted routine enterostomy nursing measures. Before intervention,3 months after intervention and 6 months after intervention, the demographic data,self-efficacy level and self-management behavior ability of patients were assessed with general data questionnaire,self-efficacy questionnaire for stoma users and self-management behavior questionnaire for enterostomy. Results: A total of 60 patients completed the collection of all data, including 30 cases in the intervention group and 30 cases in the control group.1.Before intervention, there was no significant difference in self-efficacy level score and self-management behavior score between intervention group and control group(P > 0.05).2.After 3 months of intervention, the total scores of self-efficacy and self-management in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).After 3 months of intervention, the self-efficacy score(84.23 +5.805)and self-management behavior score(116.40 +6.616)in the intervention group were significantly higher than those before intervention(P < 0.05);after 3 months, the self-efficacy score(67.60 +9.420)in the control group was significantly higher than that before intervention(P < 0.05),but the self-management behavior score(89.03 +5.295)was not higher than that before intervention(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference(P > 0.05).3.After 6 months of intervention, the scores of self-efficacy and self-management behavior in intervention group were significantly different from those before intervention and 3 months after intervention(P < 0.05),and the scores of self-efficacy in control group were significantly different from those before intervention(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference from that after 3 months(P > 0.05),and the scores of self-management behavior were no more than those before and after intervention(P < 0.05).Statistical significance(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Nursing intervention for enterostomy patients based on self-efficacy theory can effectively improve patients' self-efficacy and improve patients' self-management level.
