[Objective]To explore the changes in the serum levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and its clinical significance in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with hypertension.[Method]According to the diagnostic criteria in the Chinese guidelines for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes(2017 edition)and the Chinese guidelines for the prevention and treatment of hypertension(2010 edition),relevant data of 117 patients admitted to the endocrinology department of the second hospital of LanZhou University from August 2018 to December 2018 were collected.The included patients were divided into two groups:(1)type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension group:77 cases;(2)type 2 diabetes mellitus group: 40 cases;enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used for the determination of serum BDNF.[Result]1.the serum BDNF concentration in the type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension group was significantly higher than that in the type 2 diabetes mellitus group(P<0.05).2.Pearson correlation analysis shows that serum BDNF level is correlated with systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and low density lipoprotein(LDL)with statistical significance(P<0.05).While age,gender and body mass index(BMI),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),fasting plasma insulin concentration,high density lipoprotein(HDL),uric acid(UA)have no correlation with the level of BDNF(P > 0.05).3.T2 DM group and T2 DM + hypertension group,BDNF and triglycerides(TG)is the influence factors of diagnosis.[Conclusion]1.the serum BDNF concentration in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypertension was significantly higher than that in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients(P<0.05).2.Serum BDNF concentration is an influential factor in the diagnosis of type 2diabetes with hypertension,suggesting that BDNF can reflect the occurrence and development of the two diseases to some extent.
