Objectives:Using the “Basic Needs Model-Community Mental Health-Community Rehabilitation Family”,to intervene the stable patients with mental disorders for 1 year,and analyze the quality of life,health status,mental disability and family burden after the intervention.Explore a suitable way for patients with mental disorder to rehabilitate in rural area.Establish and popularize this suitable way for patients so they could get rehabilitation in their community.Methods:30 patients were included in the intervention group,the intervention group should be patients with severe mental disorders in a stable period.At the same time,30 patients in the control group should be included as the control group,the patients in the control group should be matched with the intervention group in terms of gender and age.The patients in the control group took medicine normally and were followed up monthly.The patients in the intervention group were included in the Basic Needs Community Rehabilitation Family for rehabilitation intervention besides taking medicine normally and follow-up monthly.The quality of life,health status,mental disability and family burden of patients in intervention group and control group were collected and analyzed at baseline,3 months,6 months and 12 months respectively.Results:(1)In the WHO-DAS II scale,the intervention group was superior to the control group in self-care,interpersonal relationship,life activities and social participation(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the average between the intervention group and the control group.(2)In the GAF scale,there were significant differences in all dimensions of data between the intervention group and the control group at 3,6 and 12 months(P<0.001).(3)In the SF-36 questionnaire,there were significant differences in the overall health,physiological function,vitality and social function of the intervention group at 3,6 and 12months(P<0.05).(4)In the WHOQOL-BREF scale,there was no statistical significant difference in social relationship dimension(P>0.05).There were significant differences in quality of life,health status,physiological,psychological and environmental dimensions(P<0.05).(5)There were no significant differences in drug compliance between intervention group and control group(P>0.05)in drug compliance scale(MARS)no matter for 3 months,6 months or 12 months(P>0.05).(6)The results of family burden scale showed that there were significant differences in physical health,mental health and total family burden between intervention group and control group at 3,6 and 12 months(P<0.05).Conclusion:The Basic Needs Model Community Rehabilitation Family has significantly improved the quality of life,health status and family burden of patients,and achieved the best intervention effect at 3 months in one-year rehabilitation intervention.At the same time,Basic Needs Model of Community Rehabilitation Family can make patients no longer rely on the environment of the hospital,return to the community for rehabilitation activities,improve the utilization rate of mental health resources in the hospital,reduce the cost of rehabilitation for patients,and help them return to society faster and better.
