Objective: By comparing whether male type 2 diabetes mellitus patients are associated with abnormal bone mass, the related risk factors of male type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with abnormal bone mass were Explored and analyzed. To search for indicators that can early predict type 2 diabetes patients with bone mass abnormalities, reduce the number of patients with radiological examination, early intervention, select appropriate treatment programs, and slow down the occurrence and development of osteoporosis. Methods:A total of 302 male T2 DM inpatients over 50 years old who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from November 2017 to November 2018 were randomly selected.General data including age, waist circumference, body mass index(BMI)and course of disease were collected, and blood routine and biochemical tests were performed.Bone mineral density(BMD)measurement was completed at the same time.According to the diagnostic criteria of osteoporosis, the patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into the group with normal bone mass and the group with abnormal bone mass.SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical processing after relevant data were collected.Results:1.The age of the group with abnormal bone mass was greater than that of the normal group(P<0.05),while the BMI was lower than that of the normal group(P<0.05).2.The levels of fasting c-peptide and serum uric acid in the group with abnormal bone mass were lower than those in the group with normal bone mass(P<0.05),and the levels of high-density lipoprotein and serum alkaline phosphatase were higher than those in the group with normal bone mass(P<0.05).3.The BMD values of the lumbar spine(l1-l4),femoral neck, hip and 1/3 of the left forearm in the group with abnormal bone mass were significantly higher than those in the group with normal bone mass(P<0.05).4.Age and serum ALP level were independent risk factors for bone mass abnormalities in T2 DM patients, and their OR values were 1.049(1.017-1.083)and 1.011(1.001-1.020).5.After the ROC curve was made, the area under the ROC curve was 0.592(95%CI: 0.524-0.660).Conclusion:1.Age and serum ALP level were independent risk factors for osteoporosis in T2 DM patients.2.Serum ALP level has a certain predictive value in the diagnosis of osteoporosis in T2 DM patients.
