The Construction And Enlightenment Of Grassroots Health And Epidemic Prevention System In The Early Years Of New China

Since the 18 th National Congress,health has become an important issue in China.The grassroots health and epidemic prevention system is an important link to protect the health of people.At the beginning of the founding of New China,all kinds of outbreaks broke out,the death rate in various places increased,and the health situation was very bad.The people did not know how to prevent diseases,which led to a very bad situation in China’s primary health and epidemic prevention.Under the leadership of the new regime,China began to explore the establishment of a grassroots health and epidemic prevention system.With the gradual deepening of the prevention and control of schistosomiasis,the construction of grassroots health and epidemic prevention system was put on the agenda.Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province,as the first county of China which eliminated schistosomiasis.The county has gradually established a relatively complete primary health and epidemic prevention system in the process of preventing and treating schistosomiasis.Through extensive review of academic papers,local chronicles,data compilations,archives and other related materials,this paper conducts a preliminary study on the construction of primary health and epidemic prevention systems in China during the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.It is believed that China’s grassroots health and epidemic prevention system is relatively mature,but there are still some problems.The successful experience of schistosomiasis prevention and control in Yujiang County in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the experience of building a grassroots health and epidemic prevention system are still worthy of reference for the improvement of China’s current grassroots health and epidemic prevention system.By collecting relevant information and conducting field research,the author talked with the grassroots blood defense personnel of the Yujiang County Blood Defence Station in Jiangxi Province,and extracted the effective experience of eliminating schistosomiasis and improving the primary health and epidemic prevention system in Yujiang County.The provision of policy recommendations for the acceleration,strengthening and improvement of grassroots health and epidemic prevention system will make the construction of grassroots health and epidemic prevention system in China further meet the needs of the “healthy China” strategy.After preliminary research,the paper proposes measures to improve the grassroots health and epidemic prevention system in China:(1)Strengthening the leadership of grassroots epidemic prevention work,providing a strong backing for grassroots epidemic prevention;(2)Strengthening the publicity of grassroots epidemic prevention work and raising awareness of epidemic prevention at the grassroots level;(3)Strengthening the construction of grassroots epidemic prevention institutions and teams,and rationally improving grassroots epidemic prevention personnel;(4)Attaching importance to the training of general practitioners and continuously improve their comprehensive quality;(5)Strengthening the scientific guidance of grassroots epidemic prevention research and establish special research funds;(6)Paying equal attention to Chinese and Western medicine,and give full play to traditional Chinese medicine at the grassroots level The role of health and epidemic prevention;(7)To expand the work areas of grassroots sanitation and epidemic prevention,and establish an epidemic prevention mechanism that combines grassroots epidemic prevention with ecological environment management and development of ecological agriculture.
