Objective: To explore the etiology of acute pancreatitis in Inner Mongolia, and to compare their clinical characteristics in terms of gender, age and severity.Method:Retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 4168 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to 6 large hospitals in Inner Mongolia from January 2015 to December2018.According to the pathogenic factors, the patients were divided into hyperlipidemic pancreatitis group, biliary pancreatitis group, excessive feeding pancreatitis group, alcoholic pancreatitis group, idiopathic pancreatitis group and pancreatitis group caused by other causes. The composition ratios of different etiology were calculated, and the age,sex and severity of patients in different etiology groups were analyzed by statistical methods. The count data was expressed by the composition ratio or rate. The chi-square test was used for comparison between groups. When the pairwise comparison was made, the test level ?'=?/3 was corrected, and the difference was statistically significant at the test level p<0.05.Results:(1)Cause composition:Among the 4168 patients with data from the Institute, hyperlipidemic pancreatitis accounted for 14.59%(608 cases),biliary pancreatitis accounted for 49.42%(2060 cases),alcoholic pancreatitis accounted for 9.57%(399cases),and idiopathic pancreatitis accounted for 13.89%(579 cases),pancreatitis caused by other causes accounted for 6.38%(266 cases)and over-feeding pancreatitis accounted for 6.14%(256 cases).(2)Cause and gender: The etiology of men and women has certain differences. Both male patients and female patients have biliary diseases as the main cause, and the incidence of female patients is higher than male patients.Acute pancreatitis caused by hyperlipidemia ranked second among male patients, accounting for 17.4%,while the hyperlipidemic pancreatitis group was second only to the biliary and idiopathic pancreatitis group, accounting for 11.1%.The incidence of male patients with alcoholic causes(14.9%)was much higher than that of females(2.7%).Overall,the proportion of hyperlipidemic pancreatitis, alcoholic pancreatitis, and excessively fed pancreatitis was significantly higher in male patients than in women, while gender and morbidity were not statistically significant in the group of idiopathic pancreatitis.(3)Cause and age: In this paper, the incidence of pathogenic factors among different age groups was compared. The results showed that except for the excessive eating group, the difference was not statistically significant. The acute pancreatitis caused by other causes had certain differences in different age groups.By comparing the two groups in different age groups,it can be seen that in the biliary etiology, the incidence of acute pancreatitis in the 19-59 age group is small; The incidence of hyperlipidemic pancreatitis in patients aged 60 years and older is significantly lower than in other age groups; The incidence of alcoholic pancreatitis in patients aged 19-59 is significantly higher than that in other age groups;Among patients under the age of 18,the incidence of pancreatitis in other causes was higher.(4)Causes and severity: The differences in the pathogenic factors of different classifications were statistically significant. The proportion of biliary origin was highest in the group of mild acute pancreatitis, followed by idiopathic, alcoholic and hyperlipidemia. The proportion of biliary origin was highest in the group of severe acute pancreatitis, followed by hyperlipidemia and other factors. The proportion of biliary origin in the moderate severe acute pancreatitis group was still the highest, followed by hyperlipidemia.Among the biliary causes, moderately severe acute pancreatitis is the most common;in the idiopathic etiology, the incidence of moderate severe acute pancreatitis is the lowest, and the highest incidence is mild acute pancreatitis;Among the causes of hyperlipidemia, the lowest incidence is mild acute pancreatitis;in the alcoholic cause, most of the mild acute pancreatitis type;In the cause of excessive eating, the type of mild acute pancreatitis is still predominant. Conclusions: The main cause of acute pancreatitis in Inner Mongolia is still biliary, followed by hyperlipidemia and idiopathic.Biliary acute pancreatitis is mostly female, and occurs in patients over 60 years old,and hyperlipidemia and alcohol are more common in young and middle-aged men.Biliary pancreatitis is mostly moderate, hyperlipidemic pancreatitis is mostly moderate and severe, while alcoholic pancreatitis is mild.
