Expression Of Serum IL-6 In Moderate-severe Allergic Rhinitis And Its Correlation With Mental And Psychological Factors

OBJECTIVE: To detect the degree of serum IL-6 expression in patients with moderate-to-severe allergic rhinitis,and investigate the correlation between IL-6 expression and specific clinical symptoms and psychosocial factors.Methods: By screening of Outpatient Department of Hunan Provincial People's Hospital and the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Clinic,also with SDS test,a total of 120 subjects were enrolled,which were divided into 4 groups: healthy group,simple depression group,simple AR group and AR with depression group,respectively.VAS was used to score the subjects in the AR group with depression;ELISA was used to measure IL-6 in all subjects;the IL-6 expression of patients with moderate-to-severe allergic rhinitis was analyzed,and its relationship with psychological and psychological factors was also investigated in detail.RESULTS: No significant statistical differences were found in gender and age between the four groups(P>0.05).Compared with the healthy group,the degree of IL-6 expression was higher in AR with depression group,simple AR group and simple depression group(P<0.05),in which the AR group significantly exceeded the other two groups(P<0.05).In clinical practices,the IL-6 expression was positively correlated with Nasal congestion,nasal itching and sleep disorders,with nasal congestion being the most relevant.CONCLUSION : 1.The expression of serum IL-6 is significantly increased in patients with moderate-severe AR with depression;2.In patients with moderate-to-severe AR with depression,IL-6 expression is positively correlated with disease duration and depression status.3.Among the clinical symptoms of patients with moderate-to-severe AR with depression,nasal congestion,nasal itching and sleep disorders are associated with the expression of IL-6,and the nasal congestion is the most relevant..
