Objective This study analyzed the epidemiological characteristics of 5700 ?40-year-old urban and rural residents in Yantai City, and explored the epidemiological characteristics of stroke and the exposure of risk factors in urban and rural residents of Yantai City.provide a scientific theoretical basis for stroke prevention and control in Yantai City.Method Using the method of cluster sampling, the urban and rural residents living in the Yantai City screening site aged?40 years old were selected as screening targets.Questionnaires and physical examinations were conducted by using the Risk Assessment Form for Stroke High-risk Population Screening and Intervention Projects developed by the National Health and Health Commission Stroke Prevention Committee. The screening data was reported to the China Stroke Data Center by the staff of the base hospital. This topic uses descriptive statistical analysis methods to analyze the screening data to obtain the prevalence of stroke and related risk factors in townships and cities in Yantai City.Result The results of screening of the overall sample population in Yantai City showed that high-risk groups(?3 risk factors)accounted for 12.4%,high-risk groups(previous TIA history)accounted for 2.0%,high-risk groups(previous stroke history)accounted for 1.5%,middle-risk groups 5.1%,low-risk groups accounted for 79.0%.The high-risk groups in urban and township strokes were 16.7% and 15.2%,respectively,and the high-risk groups in urban and rural stroke were basically the same, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The high-risk groups of males and females were 13% and 18.4%,respectively,and the risk of female stroke was higher than that of males, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The prevalence of stroke in the overall sample population of Yantai City was 1.5%,and the prevalence rates of stroke in urban and townships were 1.5% and 1.6%,respectively,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The prevalence of stroke in the same age group between urban and rural areas was basically the same, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The prevalence of stroke in men and women was basically the same, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The overall sample size of Yantai City, the prevalence of TIA was 2.0%.The prevalence of TIA in urban and townships was 3.5% and 0.5%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The prevalence of TIA in men and women was 1.2% and 2.7%,respectively.The prevalence of TIA in women was significantly higher than that in men,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Risk factors for stroke in the overall sample population in Yantai City, from high to low exposure: overweight or obesity, lack of exercise, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, family history of stroke, smoking, diabetes, atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease The exposure rates were: 26.7%,15.9%,14.9%,8.0%,7.6%,6.1%,1.5%,1.5%.The top three risk factors in the urban group of Yantai City are overweight or obesity, lack of exercise, and hypertension;the top three risk factors in the township group of Yantai City are overweight or obesity, hypertension, and a family history of stroke. In addition to the family history of stroke, other risk factors in Yantai City Group were higher than those in Yantai City(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the rate of atrial fibrillation or valvular disease between men and women in urban populations(P>0.05).Except for men who smoked more than women(P<0.05),the exposure rate of other risk factors was higher in women than in men(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in diabetes exposure between men and women in townships(P>0.05).Except for smoking exposure, males were higher than females(P < 0.05),and other risk factors were higher in females than in males(P<0.05).In conclusion The survey found that the prevalence of stroke in Yantai City is lower than the national level. This may be related to the good ecological environment of Yantai City and the good overall eating habits and living habits of residents, but it is still necessary to further expand the sample size. The top three risk factors in urban areas of Yantai City are: overweight or obesity, lack of exercise, and high blood pressure. The top three risk factors in townships are: overweight or obesity, high blood pressure, and a family history of stroke, which is different from other epidemiological surveys in China. The exposure of risk factors for stroke among urban residents in Yantai City is significantly higher than that in towns and villages.Overweight and obesity have become the first risk factors for urban and rural residents in Yantai City. Therefore,it is necessary to publicize the hazards of obesity, change people's lifestyles, formulate reasonable diet plans, and strengthen exercise.
