Objective: To understand the status quo of surgical treatment of hepatic hydatid disease in northern xinjiang, and to explore the demonstration and promotion effect of appropriate technology and scheme of hepatic hydatid disease in 6 standardized trained divisional and municipal hospitals in northern xinjiang. Methods: This study was a retrospective study.Six hospital patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis were selected from January 1,2010 to December 31,2017,which were treated by standardized training. The patients were consulted on the spot and filled in the Follow-up Form of Hepatic Hydatidosis, including general information, clinical data and socio-economic factors. The patients were divided into norms based on June 31,2013.A total of 485 valid medical records were collected before and after standardization.Questionnaire data were inputted into Epidata database, and statistical analysis was performed with SPSS 20.0 software. The differences of operation mode selection, intraoperative treatment of residual cavity of external capsule and postoperative complications before and after standardized treatment were compared. Results: There were 302 cases of hepatic cystic echinococcosis treated by operation before demonstration,183 cases of hepatic cystic echinococcosis treated by operation after demonstration, and 16.9% of the cases of endocystectomy and its derivative operation after demonstration, with Statistical significance(p < 0.05).After demonstration, the proportion of the cases of endocystectomy and its derivative operation increased from 65.9% to 75.4%,with Statistical significance(p < 0.05).The utilization rate of anti-hydatid drugs before and after demonstration was 13.9%,43%,21.3% and 54.1% respectively. The utilization rate of anti-hydatid drugs before and after demonstration was higher than that before demonstration. The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).Before and after demonstration, the utilization rate of intraoperative treatment of external capsule residual cavity was 51.3%.After demonstration, the utilization rate increased to 61.2%.The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).The usage rate of 20% hypertonic saline before and after demonstration was 57.3% and 68.3%.The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).The utilization rate of 3% hydrogen peroxide before and after demonstration was 9.9% and 4.4%.The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).The incidence of residual complications before and after demonstration was 9.6%,and after demonstration the incidence of residual complications decreased to 4.4%.The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).The incidence of total complications before and after demonstration was 16.6%,and the incidence of residual complications after demonstration was reduced to 6%.The difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).Conclusion: After the popularization of appropriate techniques and schemes for hepatic hydatidosis, the overall incidence of postoperative complications of patients with hepatic hydatidosis admitted to hospitals has been significantly reduced, and the level of diagnosis and treatment of hepatic hydatidosis in hospitals has been significantly improved compared with that before demonstration, which makes more patients with hepatic hydatidosis receive regular diagnosis and treatment in grass-roots hospitals.Satisfactory results have been achieved in the popularization of appropriate technologies and schemes.
