Objective:1. The purpose of this research is aiming at investigating the geographicaldistribution of hepatic echinococcosis in Qinghai Province, the incidence ofhepatic echinococcosis in Qinghai population, the vocational features and therelated factors, searching for risk factors of being infected by hepaticechinococcosis, grasping the epidemic characteristics and trends in recent years ofQinghai Province by handling retrospective analysis on patients suffering fromhepatic echinococcosis of4hospitals in Qinghai Province.2. By collecting the hospital records on hepatic echinococcosis of the4hospitalmentioned above in recent6years,we can establish and improve clinicalinformation database of hepatic echinococcosis in Qinghai Province to providedetailed data to develop the hepatic echinococcosis protective measuresMethods:1. By collecting and arranging the hospital records on hepatic echinococcosis of the4provincial hospital (Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, QinghaiProvincial People’s Hospital, Qinghai the Red Cross Hospital, Qinghai TibetanHospital) in recent6years, We design2006-2011Qinghai hepaticechinococcosis inpatients data card and fill out2006-2011Qinghai hepaticechinococcosis inpatients data card seriously and accurately2. We collate the data into an Excel spreadsheet and operate the Spss13.0packagefor statistical analysis. Finally, the results could be analyzed by Chi-square test. Results: We collect952cases randomly suffering from hepatic echinococcosis during2006and2011, and then handle the statistical analysis on constituent ratio from these factors, such as the distribution of time, people space etc. The results show that thereexist a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Among the above-mentionedfactors, the constituent ratio of cases suffering from hepatic cystic echinococcosis ishigher than the one constituted by patients infected with hepatic alveolarechinococcosis. We find that the number of cases in2011is the highest during thepast6years and the morbidity is increasing year by year in all cases withechinococcosis. The number of female infected with hepatic echinococcosis is higherthan male. The number of Tibetan and the Hui people who are infected is higher thanother ethnic. The situation of agricultural and pastoral areas is much more serious thanthe non-agricultural areas. Compared to other occupations, the farmers and herdsmanare more susceptible to hepatic echinococcosis. The number of young adult sufferingfrom hepatic echinococcosis is larger than other age grades. Conclusion: Hepatic cystic echinococcosis is an important clinical types of hepaticechinococcosis in Qinghai Province and this disease has a close relationship withgender, age, occupation and epidemic area.
